I'm actually in the market for a new monitor.. But I don't want curved or 'ultra-wide'.
Seems there is a gap in the market for 32" high quality flat screens.
might have to try a 32" from somewhere....32" at the same resolution will be fine imo

Can't complaing £550 for such a big oled , once they start reaching £300 probably would be death of LCD's?
For such a big monitor I'd go curved. Maybe have a look, view from usual distance and take a ruler and see what looks the straightest screen
ive just seen a 32" version of this, its a VA panel (rather than OLED which i prefer)
if the curvature is still 1800R im tempted !

Hell, no..to thin and too wide... no vertical real estate for productivity...
...personal preference obviously but I've never been tempted by 'ultra wid'e screens. they are all show, and no-go IMO.
understand not wanting UW, but curved does help on larger monitors- maybe you only tried 1000R? Try 1800
As for VA it has it's positives- good contrast, colour, and even backlight.
Dell s-series gamimg monitors are absolute spankers, I have the 27" version of that.
the 32" is quite expensive though.
