An MOD A330 landed in UAE about 10 minutes ago, no doubt related.
Yeah, I was tempted to post it in the flight tracking thread, but seemed appropriate here. There was a C5 earlier, but they regularly fly in an out of Germany and Turkey, so didn't seem to abnormal. Just showed up again just off Malta.

The Afgan army have fled, this is going to be awful for embassy staff. 5000 US troops inbound to Kabul Airport too but the airport may be taken by then.

Ordinarily, this stuff would go in there, but since it's Afghan related I've posted it here.
The main site I use https://globe.adsbexchange.com - Click the U button to see military assets.

I use that site too, problem I find is you can't filter, at least with the free version.Few RAF assets on flightradar which don't seem to be showing on there.
ANDSF fled Kandahar just in time before the Taliban could slaughter them, they fled Mazari-Sharif and are trying to cross into Uzbekistan still with tailbacks at the border crossing. The problem is now that pretty much the entire border with turkmenistan and uzbekistan is now a no go due to Taliban control and if the Afghan defence forces are not permitted entry then the Taliban will slaughter them.
ANDSF and Afghan commandos are ready and in place to defend Kabul but its not going to be pretty, they will be surrounded in a matter of hours....Asadabad fell last night/this morning and it's only a 4 hour drive from Kabul so they could circle round and meet Taliban forces from Mazari-sharif and attack the airport.
Taliban have skilled pilots so with the capture of afghan and US helicopters they will be able to drop fighters into kabul
Yeah that's not Taliban.
Power apparently cut in Kabul.
Well, unless they've captured the pilots and mechanics to go with it, it's rather useless.
