Afghanistan - 20 years on

Defend your own country, if the Taliban tried to take over the UK we would have conscription, why is the Afghan military not more prepared and have more soldiers. pathetic, they shouldn't need Western assistance after 20 years.

We wouldn't need conscription, people would be right out there with whatever they have to hand :p

This country was populated by people who like a fight and I don't think that has ever been lost.

As said a few pages earlier, the populate won't even wear a mask or social distance a little bit to protect other people. You think people would risk their lives in war?

They had 300,000 trained soldiers well equipped by NATO. However, they all surrendered to 75,000 Taliban with the capital going down without any fight at all.
 
not being funny but everyone could see what was going to happen, now thx to mr biden, women will be treated as 2nd class citizens, even yesterday women were ordered to go home from their jobs to be replaced by men, and dont forget the murders on mass. well done mr biden you now sent them back to the stone age, plus given the taliban modern weapons which they selling on mass around the world, he makes trump look like a superior human beingin everyway and he wasa clown too

But the taliban isn't an invading army, its exactly what you describe they are defending their country abd taking it back from the enemy hat invaded and occupied them for 20 years

This was a Trump policy. He had already made an agreement with the Taliban.

Look at the germams in ww2, while they were being invaded, women and children fighting against armed marines, Soviets and brits.

Even the dads army. You think england wouldn't have gone all hands to the pump if the germams had invaded?

Look at the volkssturm, the fearless Japanese kamikaze willing to put their life to an end for the cause.

The Afgans were facing the taliban, a great defensive booby trapping foe. Not fantastic aggressors as that has never been their role.

Ultimately the people of Afghanistan have no one to look at but themselves if they wanted change, democracy etc.

Truth is they didnt want it asmuch as the taliban wanted to inflict shariah on them.

Errr Trumps plan, that came shortly after a meeting with Putin in Finland lol, Biden is carrying it out from previous administration which is near impossible to change direction of after its been through the senate.
His plan was so amazing the party has now removed it from their website and will be re wrtining history.

i agree they are partly to blame, but you only have to look back in modern history, iraq,libya and now afgan, all have one thing in common, we went in and cocked it up, only difference with iraq is that blair lied to everyone
