I've heard this before, it was very disappointing that the beta period wasn't used to the full (and that I wasn't in it

), but tbh we only have ourselves to blame, as it seems the last SEVERAL months of development were spent changing things according to "community feedback" rather than finishing the game. People couldn't get their heads round the combat system so they changed it. People didn't like Tortage being single-player so they added loads of content there and made it multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they were slacking, I'm sure they could've done more, but their worst mistake by far was to listen to all the whining idiots on their forums and actually waste precious time changing the game so they would like it more! Thank God they didn't listen to all of them or we'd be playing a full-loot perma-death 3-D version of Ultima Online now!

Every single frigging overweight 40-something MMO-burnout thinks they know more about making a game than a bunch of experienced game designers who've already released one, and, unfortunately, they can troll and flame loudly enough to get listened to.
