Age of Conan

I rang up Game was told there is no mad rush for this game and that i should go in friday to pick my copy up.

Also all the copys they sell you get the mammoth mount.

Note: The lvl 81's you see there were lvl 80 within a few hours of the servers coming up.

Just a bit of background on Ebonlore. They first started hacking, sploiting and botting in Shadowbane, where they were banned. Then they were banned for the same stuff from DAoC, then EQ1, then EQ2, then Vanguard. There was probably a few other MMO's in there too.

Now they've chewed through AoC they'll get banned again, but not before making a lot of money through the gold sales business.

Cheating is what they do. They'll always deny it, but I've seen logs, fraps videos and even screen dumps of their private forums where the guild leader was linking botting sites, scripts, 3rd party utilities and giving adviced on how to macro etc.

Next up is Warhammer. They just go from mmo to mmo, sucking the life out of each one. They're despicable, and if you ever have the misfortune to roll on a server they're on, you'll end up hating them just as much as everyone else does.

Considering how blunt EA Mythic have been in the beta with regards NDA breaches, I doubt they will last 5 seconds in retail.

As far as I'm aware, they haven't been banned yet. The money dupes are out there and being tested, ready for launch. There are already queues of people waiting for it to happen.
 
Oh wow, just started playing Tempest of Set Priest char. The Lightning Strike spell you start with is an AOE effect that 1 hit kills groups of mobs and it is scaling with levels.

Edit, meh scrub the above, hit level 5 and its no longer as effective (bout 1/2), still good but can't take on enough mobs due to squishyness.

I hope so, but there are still exploits to do with pulling the network plug, and pushing it back in and also client speed/teleport hacks freely downloadable - and they've been known about and reported for months, and they are *still* in the live client.
 
So how are people liking the game? I'm tempted to pick it up but the combat just doesn't look too much fun. I really enjoyed the WoW combat system when I used to play that, was fast paced and very fluid.
