Age of Conan

Could anybody possibly make some combat videos? The one thing holding me off about the game is the combat it looks kinda lame and slow paced but I haven't seen many videos at all.

No damage numbers or anything either from what I've seen, looks confusing!

Or some pictures would suffice. :p

I was referring to the in-game currency (as I'm not aware of its proper 'name' or terminology). Basically to simplify: mounts will be easily affordable for the average player when they reach the required level. 'Grinding' or excessive money saving will not be necessary.

Oh and the Jersey email backlog won't apply to every order placed in the last week or so- I think the phone representative was talking about the particular batch that they had received and were then duly posting to orders instantly :).

Yeah tbh they've gone severely downhill recently. Sometimes when I order from them it takes up to 4 days to arrive. Sure it's free delivery but what's the point when the game itself is the pretty much the same price in other places and I can just pay 99p for next day delivery.

The game isn't even launched or released until tomorrow, yet you're complaining that you don't have the game early? Are you serious? You do realize that distributing/retailing companies often sign contracts to agree not to leak the product out early... most early postings are accidents; where the company assumes it will take longer to actually deliver than it really does.

its expected to be able to play whent he game goes live, NO communication (email) and lack of promised stuff (early access, rhino codes) keeping people in the dark aint a good way to do business.

You're completly wrong so dont post about things you have no idea about, this isnt a normal type of game its an online game where you play on the server, you could have had the game 5 years ago but couldnt play it because there were no servers hosting it... seriously think before you post. AoC wants their customers to have the game before the server goes live so they can actually play it...

Yeah but apparently it has been said that all classes are very similar in combat until the later levels where the differences really start to show and each class comes into it's own.

What he said.

Having the game installed/patched to live version ready to play when the servers come up from a disk that was probably pressed quite some time ago is a feat by itself, not even having the disk, which if it doesnt arrive tommorow, will be received five days after launch is pathetic.

You effectively do not fulfill the 'role' of your class until level 10.

Levels 1-10 are basic introductory levels where your character has no real class specialties.

Guys i applied for the beta but didnt get in yet i have recieved an email with a code to enter to get a "Drinking Cape"! The thing is i dont even have an account yet i just registered my email address?! Will i be able to set an account up tommorow with my email address still?
