Age of Conan

Well, thats it for my first day.
Servers down for 5 hrs.

Got all 3 characters to level 5, but not really sure what I'm doing once I get to the city.

Hopefully when the retail version arrives tomorrow I should get a better idea once I read the manual.

Quick couple of questions?

1. Are there class trainers like wow or do new skills always appear automatically?
2. As a neromancer I've had some ice demon appear and help me, but how did I summon it?
3. As a ranger do i always have to swap weapons when a mob gets close? No auto switching like wow?

early days yet in AoC, but they need to sort out a decent murder system imo.

No fun in killing people or being killed if you have nothing to lose but some xp points.

1 Each class has a feat tree which you can train skills etc with feat points you earn by levelling. These can be undone and changed by visiting a trainer.

2. Not sure as I'm a ranger.

3. Yes you have to switch but I have weapon switch bound to a button on my razer mouse and thus it's a non-issue for me.

1. Skills will always appear in your Feat Tree and you will never need a trainer unless you want to reset the talents.

2. If you dont have the option its most likely to be part of a quest.

3. Yes you will have to switch but its not that hard, just keep a keybind for it and you will get used to it.

Haha, there's a porn film out called Rage of Bonan which is apparently based on the first quest of the game!

2) I like the Ranger class as I like archery

How many chars can be created on 1 account. Maybe I could make different chars.


I think Its going to take me hours to make a char. lol

You can create up to 8 I believe, Tempest of Set can use bows at level 22. Demons can use crossbows I believe.
 
hey guys, looks like a brilliant game and will be joining the guild as soon as I decide what class I want! Anyway, if there's any collector's edition buyers with two cape codes any chance of one being sent my way? ;)
Want to try all the fine brews around the conan universe :D

P.S. and yes, i am a student :p
