Air fryers

Chicken fat on toast are you sure m8
When a medium chicken has cooked and some of the juices have collected under the tray, pour them onto toast / whatever else. It's no different to say using the juices from Turkey for perfect gravy.
Probably not recommended all the time for people that do no exercise. Quite unhealthy but then fats cant be that bad seems as they're the first thing animals go for in the wild when hungry

I have the Tower Vortx 9l Dual.
Even though it's a decent total volume, each compartment is at most 4.5L (quick maths!) so slightly limiting. I would have preferred it to have been slighlty shallower but with a larger footprint.

Wanted to do a large roast chicken but it wouldn't fit. Easy though to split it in half and do half in each tray though.
Turned out great! 2.5kg chicken roasted in around 35 minutes.

Also cooked some home homemade sausage rolls. 25mins as opposed to 35 in the oven and were top notch!

Factoring in the cost of the air fryer you'll break even in 20 years :D

These aren't all about saving money, which people seem fixated on with these things.

Lots of kitchen tech are bought, used a few times and dumped at the back of a kitchen cupboard, coming out a few times a year.

This however is something that is used virtually every day and is so quick and easy in most cases compared to a full oven. It being cheaper to cook the food is a bonus.

We bought ours to save money, let's ignore the £110 it cost to buy though ;)
I've no idea how much electricity our oven actually uses though so I can't be sure of savings.
Unlike my old bread maker & dehydrator the air fryer is used daily!

You are right that these are much more than just a money saving device, but what a bonus it is now the prices of electric/gas is so high.

We've been using for years now and really enjoy what these machines can produce, with the double oven now sitting there like a museum piece.

Has anyone done air fried gnocchi? I've seen a few recipes online for it but wondering if anyone has done it themselves and whether it is as easy just tossing with a bit oil and seasoning and chucking them in.
I picked up some tomato and mozzarella stuffed gnocchi yesterday which i'm keen to give a go!

Same, can't remember the last time I used the oven.

We were using it for the once a few months pizza and then started to buy those that fit in the Ninja.

I would be happy with the 7 gas rings we currently have and loose an oven, to make it just a single oven for those times when a big bird* cannot be done in the Ninja.

* And no I'm not a Jeff and was thinking of a Gemma

What pizzas fit in the ninja? Surely only those chicago town deep dishes or subs.
