Air fryers

Not on a NINJA Foodi MAX.
when you had said you were adding water during air-frying chips, it suggested you were somehow using the steaming/pressure capability at the same time,
and swapping in the other lid, which I couldn't understand.

As our Ninja will steam / pressure cook & air fry, when cooking chips I add a small amount of water under the crisping basket, chips come out amazing.

Has anyone bought a rack for the tray for the Cosori 5.5l? Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of one that fits that model. Just looking for something that will give me a good split level cooking setup in the tray.

Thinking of buying an airfryer, without reading this entire thread is there a particular make/model that is recommended?

I was thinking about a NINJA one as already have a soup/blender which is excellent.

I also think the dual type is a good idea. So any help appreciated.

Thanks

We've been blown away with the Ninja Foodi Max Health Grill, which we use all the time.

looks good, can you cook 2 or more different foods at time, say like chips and some fish?

I was looking at the ninja foodi max ones as they have a lot of different functions like slowcook.

Not in the way a dual air fryer can.

We can do a complete meal in ours by adding as we go.

Ninja Foodie Max is what we use in the past year, a bit bulky but does cook more for family of 4. Hardly use it for anything else except air fry TBH, instant pot for our other cooking needs. KFC delivery = 3 mins in the ninja and taste better than eating there :)

Been looking at all sorts of models and brands, some I have never heard of that are actually in stock, but being a snob so gonna wait for a Ninja.

Ninjas stock is non existent atm. No dual fryers or health grills.
I noticed this too, no stock in retails stores too like Currys. Anyone know why?
My only guess is no stock as people try to save electric by using air fryers instead of their ovens. Ninja specific mind as other brands like Tefal are in stock

Yesterday my GF returned after going to Mcdonalds (and eating 14/20 nuggets in the process! :D ) had one and it was cold and horrible. Put the other 5 in the air fryer on max crisp for 3 minutes. Better than when they are served at Mcdonalds!

Absolutely. Works with cold fries, dippers, hash browns, selects and apple pie as well

We did Pork chops the other night, the excess pork fat poured into Couscous made it taste fantastic. Also after cooking a whole chicken, the chicken fat is incredible on air fried toast!
Don't waste the great fat!

Grew up with a nan that did beef dripping on toast.

Never tried chicken fat on toast, but can imagine it tastes alright.
