You'll have no worries using your own stuff at sites. The VCR bill doesn't ban ownership, so you don't need to be a member of UKARA to use AEGs you already have. I use mine and I'm still not in UKARA either.
CQB/urban airsofting is actually awesome Paul, so I'm sure you'll have a great time
. I much prefer urban over woodland truth be told. It's faster and IMO requires more skill to be effective.

Only on some models where it releases the spring.
