Airsoft ??

A small video of the site i mainly play at, was there last week rocking just a t-shirt :D.
Video was taken by one of the other teams that has started coming recently.

The site also has a cqb village which is quite fun and can be seen in one of their other videos.

GAY tbh...

If you want to run around with assault rifles and you're dedicating as much time to it as some of these clowns then sign up either full time or part time and learn to do it properly.

Tis one thing to play with some BB guns or go visit a paintball place with some mates... just as guitar hero can be fun etc..

If someone were to put hours in regularly practicing guitar hero and getting together with other people to play guitar hero then an outside observer would surely tell them to get a frikking grip, sort their lives out, and try learning to play an instrument properly if they're going to put that much time into it....

If people wanted to run around with assault rifles full time I'm sure they would have joined the armed forces, but most people who enjoy airsoft as a hobby, either casualy or as military simulation, mainly play it for fun and to shoot people with out all of the death that real combat.

Do you think all people who dedicate a lot of their spare time to a hobby is "GAY"? Who are you to decide what other people should do as a hobby and what they get enjoyment from? If you don't like people who spend lots of time on a hobby then feel free to not read this thread.

Ha ha, my oh my. Perhaps you'll be willing to describe your awesome life so we know who our judge is? Because clearly you wouldn't march in here and judge people without rhyme or reason unless you were some kind of sparkling example of a human who lives life to the full. I'm almost afraid to do a forum search for the fear of discovering the unbelievable adventures you must get into. So, whilst we may all sleep uneasy in our beds at night, dreaming that we could be just like you, perhaps you'll allow us this one mercy and let us live our pathetic little lives out without being cast in the shadow of your overwhelming judgement? Either that or just GTFO loser. :)

Blah blah blah.

A load of ex forces do it. Proves something I think. ;)

I've taken current serving peeps and they thought it was a bit crap. Too many kids, the cheating didn't help and they got proper ribbed by their mates. It doesn't prove much either way. Some like it, some don't.

There are people who play it for the sport, and those who want to walt it up. Some of the stories i've heard players come out with....

To knock it without trying is a bit silly though, regardless of what it is.

That's what I've heard, and apparently according to the airsoft place I went to in the midlands, the ex forces guys lose many times vs the people that work there as the tactics are different, and the forces tend to be too tactical, whereas the regulars know the idiosyncrasies of airsoft vs the "real thing" and tend to go for it a bit more. Which I can imagine being very frustrating for the ex forces guys! :D

I think its good that you get to speak to forces ex and present, and i find that they play a good game but that's my opinion.

Get a grip, GAY!

If you don't like it, don't post about it :)

Anyway...how much do you think its costs to get kitted out with full gear - like army clothing, tactical gear, weapons (primary and secondary), BBs, and then things like backpacks and even GAS and then the chest gear for holding smokes and ammo?

I think ill spec some stuff up for a beginner kit as i've never done this :)

Also what website would you recommend for gear? (if allowed to post of course)

Absolutely. Only been airsofting once, but been paintballing many times and it's great to play a game with "pros" - you learn things you'd never otherwise have thought of. :)

If anything it's good exericse, and good team building activity.

Don't really understand the negativity, boys like their toys and guns! At least this is a safe way of shooting one another :p
