Airsoft ??

Im looking to have a little skirmish around south east london. Found a Wolf Armories one quite close to me. Tired of the horrible orange Colour, time to get a licence me thinks.

Do most places allow the one straggler on his own? Or will i need to find a party to do it with?
 
So I'm going to start playing Airsoft. I have my first game tomorrow at our local place which is all indoors CQB stuff.

Any decent websites to start buying gear like pants, shirts, gloves, marks and that sort of thing?

First thing I really want to get is some knee pads, I been looking at the Blackhawk V2's stuff but they are hardshell, are they okay for kneeing on seas of bb's?

At a later date, I plan on getting some chest webbing. Anything decent for Airsoft?

* Don't **** up as much
* Cheaper if you're a regular
* More awesome guns you can get (mostly from China and places like that)
* Generally older and more mature people play it.
* Respawning (in paintball, you get hit, you're done. Airsoft, BACK TO THE RESPAWN)

I been wanting to play Airsoft for years now and been looking at sites and weapons just as long and am just disappointed at the lack of weapons available... it's always the same ones or just different versions of the same type.

Surely, there has to be more new ones being released?

I'm finding it really hard to choose between the P90 and L85A, I kinda want the M4 but there is so many versions of that. Which one allows you to equip lots of mods like sights, red dot, laser, lights and silly things like that? :p

First game today! Looking forward to it. ;)
 
IW, there are Airsoft weapons from pretty much all real guns ever invented as you have probably seen. The problem is sourcing them to start with, and then getting spares if things break.

m4 is a popular platform (due to tackticool looks etc), so there are loads of spares flying around....thus everyone has a m4.

P80 and l85's are not far off the m4, but still quite hard to source parts to be honest (not that I've tried).

Could be the case that the sites I been looking at is the problem.

Well just got home from my first game. Was great, second best thing since Kendo.

Made a few mistakes, like walking towards the enemy spawn area instead of my own but first time I been in there so easy forgiven. lol

Got some nice kills and some good moments, my favourite was taking 3 guys down who was all grouped together at close "blank" range, but I was out of bounds and was also taken out. :D#

Second moment was shooting three guys from the other side of the hall but the third didn't take his "hits" and took me out, I didn't want to fight about it, so gave him the kill even though I know I got him too. Seems hes known to the other guys too who was there, they complained that they wasn't taking his "hits"

Third moment was wiping out 4-6 guys who was all grouped together at some "fort" area on the second level, was firing a lot of BB's then. lol

Had some ouchie moments, got shot in the left thumb, that hurt and still hurts, got shot in the back of the head when I forgot to pull my hoodie up.

Doesn't hurt as much Kendo does so nothing to complain about. :D

Looking forward to my next game on Sunday, this time I will have some of my own gear, I might order my weapon next Friday but the club will order it for me and keep it till I can get my membership registered.

I really want a modern weapon with decent rail support.
