Airsoft ??

If I were to give anyone any advice now it would be High speed Low drag loadouts. and get a good quality jackets for rainy days.

Deffo this. So many people with kit just for show....like dummy flash bang's. WHY????:confused: So much extra weight and bulk for nothing.

Just carry what you need to be effective. For me, that's rifle, pistol and two BFG's. 2 spare plastic mid caps and a extra pistol mag.

All kit housed on a belt for extra maneuverability.

I been looking everywhere, where can I get a reasonable surefire light for my P90? Airsoft version since I don't fancy spending more then whats the guns worth. lol

I have used different torches when playing which seemed to do the job. But then came across someone using a strobe and was amazed how effective it was. I came across him using a stobe a few times and he got me both times as I was having trouble seeing where he was.

I then started looking for a torch that had a strobe, waterproof and also could use a pressure switch with it. Most torches that have stobe won't work with a pressure switch (it will just go to a standard setting when pressed)

Anyway I went with a Nitecore P16 and really recommend it, rather then buying a clone which are still not cheap, with the P16 it's built to last.

I also bought a diffuser for it that will stop the lens getting shot out. Plus it's 960 lumen where as these clones are nothing like what they claim to put out and lucky to get 300 lumen. I have used it the mall a few times and it got loads of attention.

My VFC HK416 with it:

Google element torches.

I believe jdairsoft stocks them. They are 1:1 clones even have surefire branded on them. Only difference is the bulb, but its still very bright!

Finally arrived! Now I just need to charge them up. :)

Loading the 170rds magazines isn't easy as I thought it be. At first... I was thinking they sent me the wrong ones, like 50rds ones or something, but I pushed a little harder and the BB's started to turn around and up the other side but it won't go any further.

Guess I need to spray something down the hole to make the BB's move easier.

Get your barrel cleaning rod and ram it down the hole a few times they always start out stiff. Dont spray anything in them your bbs will go flying all over the shop!

Need a rod that bends then because my mags are P90, the feeding hole and I guess the magazine is like a L shape. :p

Think next week, I will purchase a grenade or two, going to get these: https://jdairsoft.net/essentials/bfg/tactical-reloadable-maritime-ready-device-green

Bloody expensive hobby this is.

never seen the point in bfg's the amount times i have seen guys getting lit up as they walk into a building to retrive there grenades is unreal.

we used to empty the bag of paint from enola gaye paint grenades, fill them with bb's and glue back together. hurt like a mother.

Me and a friend are going to try airsoft in a few weeks in south Wales. Anyone have any recommendations?

Once I get my membership I think I'm going to get a G&G combat machine, are these good for the money? Does the longer barrel aid accuracy or should I just get the shorter barrel?

Good choice. The G&G combat machines work really very well, especially considering the price. I've seen loads of them keep trucking for hundred of thousands of rounds without hiccup at all.

Longer barrels don't really have much effect on anything beyond about 10" or so, my most accurate, longest range AEG is a Combat machine MP5 (upgraded internals, but the hop and barrel are stock)

I always recommend, go for the one you like the looks of as barrel length is all but meaningless :)

Cheers for the advice. I personally like the look of the longer barrel, but if the accuracy is the same then I guess I should be going for the shorter barrel as it will be a lot better in CQB?

Depending upon the model, you can source barrel extensions if you want to turn the aesthetics of your CQB weapon into something like a marksman's rifle. Some suppressors are pretty long, too.

Bought a WE M&P today but got a weird issue with it. I have to "reload the gun" (can't use the other word for it but think of a male chicken) it whilst going through a magazine in order for the BBs to load into the chamber. I've tried lubing the inside of the gun and the spring of the magazine but it doesn't help. Any ideas?
