Airsoft ??

Samurai edge, full metal gas blow back m92 Barry Burton mod from res evil :p

also a little laser sight.

the barrel is threaded so if you take off the compensator/rail you can have it look like a normal m92 and put a silencer/extended barrel on.

That is seriously awesome, so much want! How much did that set you back?

I so wish I had bought one before they introduced the silly rules. Its ridiculous that i cant buy a 6mm airsoft gun, yet I can buy an exact replica co2 gun that fires 4.5mm bbs or pellets .

Heres one I have just bought from Germany, directly to my door lol. It's cool and all, but I want Barry Burtons Samuri edge :(:(:(

about £110 iirc

Anyone know much about mosfets reccommend one for a 9.9 life battery?

Been running one of these in my f2000 for the past while and really liking it (like 11.1 but without blowing up the gearbox), but methinks a mosfet is needed to offset the horrific f2000 trigger pull but finding one that'll do 9.9 is eluding me.

2017 bump!

Feel like this thread needs some lovin'!

Used to play back in 2004 but I've not played for the last couple of years.

Being young, single and with a full-time job, I easily spent upward of £5K on gear, kit and accessories.

Somehow I've managed to keep a lot of my kit and I've got rifles that I bought near the end (modded with MOSFETs, the works) that haven't even been used on a single game day.

When I started out I was actually in training for joining the army, but as those plans changed I lost a lot of my fitness - and although I never admitted it at the time it's probably the reason I stopped.

As part of an ongoing effort to get fitter (lost about 12kg from 112kg) I'm looking to making it a part of my regular fitness regime. Who needs CrossFit when you can be running around in the woods, doing burpees when you're constantly jumping up and down to move between cover - all while someone is trying to shoot you! :D

Pulled out my stuff from the cupboard and I've literally got every piece of kit that makes up this picture from back in the day. That was the last rifle I bought. Used it twice. About time it got used again!

Once you pop, you can't stop! I dread to think of the money I've spent on gear, and I've only been playing for a couple of years

same, nearly every time i go i'm always fiddling with some bit of web gear or continuing my never ending quest for accuracy or more recently just trying to get my damn m4 to work reliably.

looking forward to being able to get back to it myself (been in germany for a while), although my last session i suspect my batteries may have finally died the death.

looking back i did find a mosfet that worked on the f2000, fully re-wired it and tried out a higher speed motor although it didn't have the torque unfortunately.

wouldn't mind getting a russian loadout at some point, either a dragonuv good old fashioned metal and wood ak with iron sights and a makarov on the side, combine with some ultra lightweight rigging

Grey Shop is great for proper russian tactical gear, got quite a bit from them in their last sale. I quite fancy a Vintorez one of these days, but I've just ordered a G&G ARP 556 as I got fed up of my M4 for CQP. Great spec out of the box!

will bear that in mind, although i'm not really massively into co-ordination or being historically correct or anything like that (can't afford to) its primarily if it works, although when i entered the hobby i chose to go stanag as it meant i could use the same gear for the greatest spectrum of guns especially if you just stick to the original pattern rather than pmags (which are great in ar pattern guns but you try stuffing one into an f2000)

thinking while i'm in germany would be an ample opportunity to pick up some flektarn, my old dpm's are getting a tad worse for wear and from what i've seen (or more correctly haven't seen) of guys at my local site using that stuff is it's really effective

And so it begins... not even had my first game since I've decided to start again and I've already dropped £15 on parts to improve my quality of life (rail risers for ACOG which never quite had the position quite right)

Never heard of Grey Shop before - that's probably another £100 down the pan in the next 48 hours!

Anyone know a good site near Leeds thats open on a Saturday? Stag Do. I'm trying to convince people that Airsoft > Paintball.

Wasting your time then - everyone knows Paintball > Airsoft :p

Fear Masters is meant to be a decent site - based just outside of Wakefield, they also run a huge shop in Normanton.

Was looking for this topic for ages, only to remember it was under my watched list.

Tons of new gear for Airsoft.

The headset is really nice, I expected the sound picked up from the microphones on the sides to be louder but it's still superior to normal hearing, especially in my local CQB place. Can hear the footsteps better.

Haven't had a chance to use my radio yet. :(

Had to get this from the USA too, used it once or twice and it still has that funny taste but am sure it stop after some time.

Sling from thevestguy in the USA arrived last week, it's awesome yet so damn expensive for something so simple.

IMG_20170803_155124.jpg

Been a expensive month.

@IronWarrior funny you mention the p90 sling, i had the same problem with the f2000, fortunately mother dearest is handy with a sewing maching and has enough patience to put up with my constant changing of designs, but i currently have a system kinda similar to yours, a "tactical lingerie" setup that allows a d-ring mount, combine that with a cheap rail sling mount on the not so cheap ris front grip and an sa80 sling works pretty well :)

although because the f2000 is shorter than the sa80 it's not quite as good in 2-point mode, it needs to be too loose in order for there to be enough slack

Yeah mine could had easy made one back in the day, mothers are great like that.

Yep, being in the EU kinda sucks when you have unique guns, anything specialise for them is always found in the US. There was tons of sling points for the P90 that allowed for a 2p or 3p sling setup here but that would make it so the sling would be getting in the way.

Would like to get a F2000 one day, since the design looks so nice. but first I want to get that lovely AA-12 shotgun. :D

my advice is be prepared for a lot of DIY, from basically brand new you'll need to cut the tab off the gearbox that prevents midcaps (it's the same as the p90 box just flipped upside down), you may need to do a bit of trigger work to get semi auto to function right and you'll want a mosfet or have fun finding a replacement trigger unit when the contacts burn through, it wont take pmags, the accuracy isn't as legendary as some corners of the internet would suggest and parts are really expensive.

i guess i'm lucky that i'm prepared to rip apart a £300 gun and go to town like that and ruin any semblance of warranty :D

although some of that i'm sure you're already familiar with- like the black and decker trigger :D

however, it sure is a head turner and obviously is great for being so short, personally i use it mainly as my "assault" class gun with my m4 being more of a dmr even if it is just a cqb version with a longer barrel hidden under a giant silencer.

i'm wanting to go russian mainly because my current crop is all "new" guns (well apart from the anniversary 1911 i have which has terrible sights but that's fine because it doesn't have any accuracy and is slowly blasting itself to pieces), so many shiny options (i'd love me a 1903 springfield and get a warner and swazey sight on there) but in ni we have wonderful 320fps for everything so bolt actions dont make much sense, so an ak i feel is about as far back i can go and still be effective enough to be fun :)

Nice - I got all the stuff for the Battlefield 4 US recon setup used it once and then all my friends (who were more into airsoft than I am) stopped playing LOL.

BF1 themed horse pose!
