Airsoft ??

Got a big day on Sunday it's The Asylum's first birthday.

Look to be 180 players booked onto the site for the day, hopefully more of the site will get opened up and we will be fighting all over the hospital!

Hmmmm, when is the next game after that? Would you take me out for a virgin game of Airsoft. :p:o

Find a place you can get to, check their site/call them for information on the next game day, see if they have a space for a rental, book and turn up. Judging from your profile you are well above the min. age limit :)

Make sure to ask them if they supply lunch or will you need to take your own.

You really won't need to do much else, you'll get a safety briefing and probably some basics if it's your first time. Try to get there nice and early and have an open mind and listen to instructions. Simple

sorry, only just seen this psot.

yeh, it works fine when turned upside down. Then turn back and it wont feed

Sounds like a problem with the magazine. Is it a high cap one (i.e has a winding wheel, holds hundreds of rounds)? You need to make sure you wind it fully till you get a click and some resistance on the wheel. Few thigns it could be:

Duff mag
Dirty/cheap BBs
Not winding it enough
Not enough rounds in the mag to keep forcing them to the top

Hi,

Yes, They're high cap ones.

Ill buy in some more BBs and check that it wasnt just a case of not enough!

if that fails then ill buy in another mag.

Cheers

I've had four hicaps go belly up and refuse to feed since I got my own gun. I've taken to just using locaps now, partly because it stops the issue of constant winding and partly because its more realistic.
Just need to find a locap that fits my cheap/naff p90 now.

Yeah i use midcaps, no winding, 120 rounds per mag is plenty. You could try buying second hand working mags off the forum to try viper, cheaper that way.

Well it went quite well I think.

Good points: Damn good fun, shot a fair few people, had a good laugh. Would go again.

Bad Points: People not taking their hits, slipping over in the mud, rental gun was so inaccurate it was a joke, and the face protection just steamed up on the inside so bad that eventually I couldn't see a thing.

I'm damn sore today though, can barely walk. :/

Sounds exactly like my first experience.

Well the rental site offers MP5s, AK47s, and two types of G36 - the C and the K.

I was running late so had to be content with a G36C as there were no others left, but from talking to others the AKs and MP5s go first as they're the newest and tend to be the best guns.

I'm going to book next time to have one of them though.

I like the G36C but its a bit lacking in range on the more open sites and needs the hop adjusted constantly.

Hey, glad to see some fellow airsofters out there,
I have been playing at unreal airsoft but am now moving to Hilton park/Wolverhampton.
I have been trying to get down once a month as my paper round wages won't stretch that far, and i also have to own the dreaded two tones :(
Atm i have a:
TM PSG-1 - Systema gearbox internals, 590mm tightbore/bipod/silencer
JG HK416- Stock, just found a potential buyer :D

If any of you guys play at Hilton Park then ill see you there :D

In my opinion mate, a good two tone will out perform a cheaphie that isn't painted any day. Buy yourself some scrim to use on the site, that should stop it being too obvious, then just remove it before you leave.

thats your muscles rebuilding themselves. it might hurt for a few days :p

did you have fun?

Yeah, frustrating for the reasons mentioned above but i'm booked in to go again this month. :D

To be fair, most of them did. The only one that didn't was the shotgun I used and that's because it was 10x3 shots per shell.
