So wheres the £600 been spent then?

I see a old stacker, someone was selling an identical one in the MM for a few bucks.

A 8 series motherboard worth about £60 new.

A really old sound card worth £5 second hand.

And a £100 ATI 5830.

with 2 36gb raptors
£70 on a icute 850watt, witch i trust wont fail me, when i get my cpu i will prove it worthy!
yeah, greanted the stacker is old, scratched and past gen, but i brought it for its cooling capability and will probably be modding it properly sometime
a 8=1phase 880 motherboard probably worth around £80 new
a saphire 5830 that was £95 new,
a £40 hotswap drive bay and 2 £20 dvd+rw's
EDIT:
cosair ddr3
a akasa nero s hsf
im pretty sure ive covered the most of it, but with that its probably around £500 rather than £600, and with my cpu it will be around £600

with 2 36gb raptors - waste of money

not when those raptors were only £12 for the pair
and the icute will be proven worthy not matter how many solid caps i have to put in ;)
and thirdly the hot-swap isnt a waste of money when you do as much data transfer as me :L
