A sad day have swapped my rig to a silverstone fortress ft01 gonna take the eclipse to the barn and blow the mother away.
Nah will keep it forever I think and maybe mod it.

Moved this from the new cases gallery.
Been a couple of years since I posted a pic of my Eclipse on here, not much has changed on it since then, but I don't game much these days. Given it a bit of tidy inside too with a cable tidy kit from the 99p shop & a couple of round sata cables. I bungee modded the hard drive & took out the floppy & HD cages for max airflow. I know its not up to spec compared with some on here but it suits my needs, it plays crysis at 1280X720 fine on my telly! :D
Spec:

I've decided that "upgrading" to an Omega case from an Eclipse 62 case for my current PC was a bit of a "mistake". My old Eclipse 62 is a bit knackered so I can't swap the PC innards round. So I emailed Akasa UK asking if it was possible to get the door front for an Eclipse 62 and replace the door front of my Omega so that I essentially have an Eclipse 62 case again. :D

I think I'll have to buy the door front through Akasa themselves as the only way to get the door front of an Eclipse 62 otherwise is to spend £100+ on the whole Eclipse 62 case. :p

When I copy my CDs EAC automatically opens the CD tray when the copying has finished and this means I need to have the case door open. Having the case door open means I can't open the drawer to my desk otherwise the desk drawer and case door collide. I know I can have EAC not open the CD tray when its finished with the disc but it saves me having to open the CD tray myself. I also don't see why the Omega case has to have a door on the front when the Eclipse 62 didn't and was a superb case for it!

Having an Eclipse 62 case front would mean I'd have better access to the USB ports and the whole case would just look better, I think. :)

Ive had my 62 for years now, and its been great. But looking at other cases out there that have the power supply at the bottom, I think they might be better for airflow. :(

Anyone know if Jerry still works at Akasa? I emailed him but so far no reply. Looking for an omega top panel or a 62 top panel that I can mod (dont want to mod the top panel I already have as it may go wrong and not look good). Omega top panel would be best, then I wouldnt have to mod anything!

I just have never felt the need or urge to change the case.
