Akasa Eclipse 62's Club... Desktop & Machines.

It's not perfect out of the box, if you have more than two hdd's in the bottom drive bay the front fan is severely blocked. With the addition of a bay fan unit, (scythe kama bay is good) the airflow is drastically improved, up until 8 months ago i was running my i7 rig clocked at 4ghz in a 62, kept it cool enough, only switched to my current case as i wanted a bit more space for mutiple gpu's.

Yep. Still haven't had a reply from Jerry at Akasa UK for a quote on a new Eclipse door to convert my Omega to an Eclipse. :p

I looked at new cases a while back and found that a lot of cases were as deep, and taller, but nowhere near as wide. :(

Such a good case if only Akasa re-worked it for 2010.

Yeah well. He's probably cost Akasa the price of a new Eclipse case door front. :D

He replied to my initial email asking if such a purchase was possible asking for my address. Sent the info he wanted and that was it. I even sent a follow up email a few weeks later and still nothing.

got round to tidying up the cables a little yesurday and decided to get my dremal and jigsaw out to make a hole for 2 120mm fans at the bottom!! the fans at the mo are just spare i had, will be picking up some decent ones shortly.

:eek::eek: 2 cards like my 4870 on crossfire and with the stock cooling!!!
