Akasa Eclipse 62's Club... Desktop & Machines.

Its easy to change the filter on it as well, you just pop the front off your case off and you can slide it out while its in place.

I was worried about having 2 120mm fans sucking dust in but there's loads of cases with 2+ 120mm intake fans.

Quick question, why is there very few cases that have black insides? when i was looking for a new case I'd see some nice ones then the inside would just let the whole thing down. Thats whats so great about the akasa chassises (sp?) they look great from the inside out.

As does the Antec 1200.. thats why I own both the Eclipse & 1200, both extremely awesome with or without the side panels on...:D

did some more experimenting

bizarely I get much better airflow with the following

Front bottom - no fan
Front top - Kama Scythe with 60 cfm Noiseblocker fan in
Side - Scythe fan outlet
Back - 60 cfm Noiseblocker fan out

than

Front bottom - Akasa fan in
Front top - Kama Scythe with noiseblocker in
Side - Scythe fan outlet
Back - 60 cfm Noiseblocker fan out

Thats crazy, I might have a tweak with my set up and do some testing.

come on akasa learn to screw everything in right.....damn loose screw

*RMA'd*

Right RMA has been sorted by the e-tailer and is being picked up tomorrow free of charge. I did think I was being a bit fussy but there was a couple of places that had scratches and at £140 its not on. I've had that before with a lian li case so I guess its just luck of the draw.

Was offer a refund but I want this case and after seeing it in the flesh I want it more. Now of course I didnt just pack it up for the RMA without taking any pics. So here you go guys.

The Box

The internal packaging

Thank's you are a star :D Very nice case indeed, sorry to see it got scratched as you said its the luck of the draw.... your replacement Omega will be A1 I'm sure....;)

Yeah totally, it happens. I was close to leaving it but why should I? wont cost me anything to get it replaced and its being picked up from my house between 9-12 tomorrow.

I have to say it looks wow in real life. Just has a really nice finish. and its not to far from the perfect chassis IMO.

so you tempted? or have you got any others in mind?

Oh!!!!!!!! yes very tempted...:D looks like I'm now going to end up with both the *Omega* and the *Infiniti* ;)

Thanks for the pics, looks like a really nice case. shame about the scratches, hopefully your replacement turns up ok:)

I'm sure it will be fine, the screw in question was one from the side panel (you can see it missing in the back picture) got inside and did damage. I dont blame akasa just bad luck. and if the case was £50 i'd probably let it slide.
