wth, he did nothing wrong
If I shot someone, even by accident, I'd expect a trial tbh...wth, he did nothing wrong
wth, he did nothing wrong
He handled a firearm in a negligent manner, killing one person and seriously injuring a second.wth, he did nothing wrong
I think Baldwin will avoid a sentence. He was unlucky and at the end of a chain of incompetence. But he fired the bullet which killed her so the court can't just brush him aside.
When acting a scene that's not always possible. That's in part why they have an armourer there to do that job. And to take that responsibility.
He was also ultimately responsible for what happened on set, since he was producer for the film. Let's see what the court finds but, as it stands, I think terrible accident and no-one specifically liable is the right outcome.
Maybe he's just really really mad that he was supposed to be given a glorified cap gun to film a scene with and instead was handed a live firearm which went off by itself and killed/injured people, I'd be furious in his shoes as you treat fake guns much more blasé than live ones so there was a chance he could have had it pointed it himself when it went off. What kind of a person who takes someone elses life and then immediately only thinks of himself!?
The gun was meant to be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A lot of mistakes made but he pulled the trigger.
1) Why did he accept the live firearm instead of the imitation? 2) Why did he accept the firearm off the assistant director, not the armour? 3) Why did he refuse training from the armourer?Maybe he's just really really mad that he was supposed to be given a glorified cap gun to film a scene with and instead was handed a live firearm which went off by itself and killed/injured people, I'd be furious in his shoes as you treat fake guns much more blasé than live ones so there was a chance he could have had it pointed it himself when it went off.
He didn't know it was a live firearm. You expect people you pay to do their job properly to do their job properly!1) Why did he accept the live firearm instead of the imitation? 2) Why did he accept the firearm off the assistant director, not the armour? 3) Why did he refuse training from the armourer?
There are safety protocols for a reason, most of which were missed by Baldwin who was the producer, he is responsible for the safety violations.
Also, he pulled the trigger, it didn't go off by itself, the FBI forensic report confirmed as much.
And he should have checked that................The gun was meant to be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And he didn't do his job properly, killed someone and needs to face the consequences. He didn't know it was a live firearm. You expect people you pay to do their job properly to do their job properly!
First of all, what are you basing the first statement on? Is this a statement he has stated? Secondly, how could he not know?He didn't know it was a live firearm. You expect people you pay to do their job properly to do their job properly!
****! Blocked!First of all, what are you basing the first statement on? Is this a statement he has stated? Secondly, how could he not know?
If Baldwin had done his job right, he would have had an adequate armourer and been trained by them. Why did he not accept the additional training the armourer wanted to provide? The assistant director was not trained to handle firearms, why would he accept anything from him? Baldwin was the producer, this is absolutely he responsibility, he's not a rookie actor who just walked on set.
