I don't generally believe conspiracy theories as they require too many people to stay silent to maintain them.

A bit of political group think though? Much more likely ....

With these platforms controlling so much of the market I don't think the argument that its their platforms so they can choose who they ban or what they editorialise based sometimes on what appears to be their political leanings is going to wash.
 
I don't believe 99% of what he says, but if people want to sit and watch him which clearly millions did, then they should be able to do that as long as he isn't encouraging acts of violence

This doesn't make any sense. Firstly, he makes up all sorts of crap. Government paper that shows they're making frogs gay or something like that - of course it doesn't exist. All he does is stir up fear in people like yourself, who are susceptible to ********.

Does he provide a public service? Of course not, because he's a pathological liar!

Does YouTube have to show any of his diatribe? Of course not, because they're a private company.

Do other forms of media censor themselves? Of course they do! It's not like the KKK is going around promoting events where black communities have helped white people is it? Censorship isn't exclusive to YouTube.

They are publicly funded too. WTF are they still doing allowed to express their misinformation?
 
I think these big companies like Facebook, Youtube, Apple have made another big mistake that will end up costing them and us in the future.

When the Internet started one of the reasons it was free and open was because the sites acted like a carrier, similar to the phone network, so wasn't liable for the content people did while using their service.

At some point they decided that they could start controlling what people put on their service, and indirectly led to them to taking full liability for what people put in their videos, or what they write.

The result of this as been that if you have an opinion that goes against the politically correct orthodoxy then the platform as to take some kind of action against you or it will immediately be seen to be condoning what you are saying. If you have an opinion that might offend ANYONE then you'll be encouraged to leave.

Of course, the majority can't get past its Alex Jones.

Also the media is either utterly moronic or evil genius, they've been enticing civil unrest for the past 6-8 years minimum.

Alex has basically been telling everyone the government is out to get them, hes also been promoting guns, then they gag him. Well they cant gag him in reality - it's a universal impossibility, but what they are doing under the guise of gagging him, is giving him an advertisement campaign worth MILLIONS of dollars, for absolutely free. I expect it to cause more people to want to turn against governments. Then they will ring Putin from the safety of their nuclear bunkers and tell him to end it before too many people realise that they've been enslaved and milked by the elite for the past 100-150 years.

Of course. Have you seen the bit at the bottom of BBC news which says "Why you can trust BBC News", totally NOT something a pathological liar would do.


/sarcasm. It's exactly what liars do. Some of the reasons they give for trusting them are also utterly hilarious :D
