Alien: Isolation Trailer

Can someone tell me at what point the alien first appears (in SPOILERS!) I'm creeping around like a big girl at the moment. It'd be nice to just play knowing nothing's going to happen for a while. I've just come across my first locker and as soon as I saw it, I legged it in there and hid for a few minutes as knowing game conventions, fully expected the alien to appear.
There is no linear set route for the Alien, it can appear anywhere at any time, depending on your noise levels etc.
Debating whether to get this, where is the cheapest?
Yeah I know but the first time it appears is totally scripted. I have reached that point anyhow.
Anyone like to comment on performance??.
I'm playing this on xbox one and now and again get a little stutter when going into new areas and free look movement feels a bit sluggish which I wouldn't expect even at 30FPS.
Edit: never mind, just found this article on performance clicky
It seems I should have ordered it for my PS4 as the Xbox one version is often dipping below 30 fps

Yep, input lag, lip sync issues, choppy cut scenes.
if it was a balls out first person shooter this would probably annoy me but as it's totally different to that I can live with it. Looking forward to getting my copy.

I thought there was! At first I thought it was my eyes but now it's clear there is issues here. Hopefully they sort this soon, I may hold off until they have sorted it.
