Alien: Romulus - Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead) to write/direct

It doesn't look good enough to tempt me into the cinema unfortunately.

Alien by numbers, nothing original about it whatsoever. No believable looking characters to get behind either.

Hope I'm wrong, but looks another dud to me.

Saw the trailer at deadpool. Left me completely cold, no emotional engagement at all, and when the end "alien" title appeared my initial thought was that they've hit rock bottom.

Trap seemed a better film from the trailer.
I'm looking forward to both but Trap looks absolutely superb

i saw the trailer when watching deadpool sunday , now being a huge alien series fan this kind of looks promising its a mix of alien , aliens and alien resurrection which intrigues me somewhat. I may go see this on release if i have the time haha

They showed the latest trailer during Deadpool & Wolverine, and I wished I had missed it as it gives away far too much

Why they are on a space station
Who the Alien gestates in etc.

makes you think though , is the Romulus an Evil WEYU thing or is it from David and Covenant potentially ?

I'm getting properly hyped now after seeing a few of the reviews. Trying to avoid too much though so I don't spoil it for myself.
Same, read the article in Hollywood Reporter and the reviews are mostly very positive which they might have cherry picked, not reading any more after that!

Saw the trailer, while at the cinema for Deadpool and Wolverine.

I'm not holding out any hope of it being much good, especially with Cailee Spaeny being in it.

Not that Pacific Rim Uprising was a particularly good film, but she definitely made it worse.

I wish I did this at the start. The trailers give too much away particularly the final trailer. It was shown in the Cinema as well so hard to avoid.

Got tickets for 7pm showing here.
Deliberately Not seen too much about so I'm looking forward to it.
Set between my 2 fav alien films, should hopefully hit the asphetic well.
I suspect it'll be a bit strong confident woman but we'll see :p
