Agreed. We used to **** ourselves laughing doing that with the hunter in l4d2. The humans never quite know what to make of it. I can imagine having some good lol's with that walk when playing online. The main thing is, you will never see that in single player. :)

You're judging people for being put off by something they have seen in game whilst also refusing to watch it and clearly not understanding where it's from.

I get that you like Aliens (I love it too) but this game looks like an abomination. The walking animation in question is from the single player experience rather than the multiplayer - so your statement is pretty false there.

Another thing that you seem to be purposefully overlooking is the huge difference between aliens (as in the aliens within the Aliens franchise) and zombies. One is meant to be a sleek killing machine and the other often a mindless and shambling corpse. The terrible animation, graphics and behavioural changes of the alien to be basically a zombie don't work and just make it look comical... completely ruining the mood of the game.

I have to agree, but I am a sucker for Alien stuff so will buy this crock of poop anyway :D

Because people like me keep buying this rubbish the software companies will keep pumping rubbish like this out. But heck im a sucker for this franchise.
 
The stupid walking alien is pretty bad, but every game out there has bugs or can glitch out and do stupid things.

Watching the weekly GameSprout videos of games fails easy shows that.

I'm sure the MP gameplay should be good, if it's anything like L4D2, it should rock.

Its a bug then i guess which i presume will be getting fixed in the day 1 patch. I've watched plenty of gameplay and never seen anything like what happens in this one video. My guess is thats a lurker or something that's bugged out. It can happen in todays games. It does look funny i will agree with you though. :D

Crikey, the graphics look a bit dated.... It all looks a bit clunky and has the potential to be a letdown... I may still give it a chance though.

I don't want to argue so look else where for your fix. I also don't want to watch a play through of the single player campaign because i want to experience it myself when the game has been released and patched from day 1. However i have seen a two minute video with a clip of the bit he mentions. Its a bug which can easily be fixed.

What's so hard to understand about that Sleepery? Its not rocket science.

The alien reminded me of easy lional who was obviously out his nut early on a Sunday morning in the centre of Glasgow...

Had to edit video, forgot there was sweary words in it!

Same walk and gait....

Watched about 20 minutes of the walkthrough and feeling a lot less optimistic, I don't mind the graphics not being mind-blowing but the AI, story and actual gameplay look pretty weak. The multiplayer might be okay but the singleplayer looks pretty awful. Most disappointed for the Wii U as I'd hoped using the gamepad as a motion detector would round off a great game rather than just being sprinkles on a turd.
 
Flamethrower looks laughably bad in that footage as well, it literally looks like a row of little fireballs connected together (Alien 3 on snes or Megadrive anyone?). They shoulda taken a look at RTCW and TF2 to see how its done right.
 
I thought this would be the first game in a long time that I would pay release day prices for, looking at some of the videos in here and the fact that there are no reviews means I definitely wont be buying it tomorrow

I'll give it a couple of weeks, wait until its patched up and see what people are saying then
 
well my copy arrived today.

The cd key stuck on to the bonus content card was actually the cd for full game and cd key stuck on to the manual was the key for the bonus content.

Not a great start really.
