Kind of fear mentioning that I enjoyed the game. In case I get picked on. :p It had some good moments. but over all it was not up to the standard it really should have been I agree.

And like you I bought the season pass. We can but hope that they make something better of the game with the season passes DLC. After all of the criticism the game has had.

I have never wanted a game to be pirated as much as this one! Don't deserve to earn any money from this game :mad:

There are now 3 versions one of them you can download yourself.
1) The normal V2 cersion as rar
2) The V2 as exe where you only need to specify the path.
3) Here is the Dx10 and sweetFX together as a Rar file for downloading.
New addition
-Even better lighting effects, the real effect of the radiation lamps Liquid displayed. A better light effect is created on the ground textures, walls. People.
Shadow liquid and more visible.
ram for more important things like light and shadow.
The shadow should be berchnet better.
- Textures will load faster and have a greater radius so that you get during the game should see textures not loading ends.
The bug with his colleagues voic to silence should no longer occur.
- The error in the no movies or play scenes were shown should not happen again.

Don't agree with this. I know what you're getting at but most of the staff working on the actual game itself will have had 0 to do with the issues with it and just need to be paid and hopefully retain their jobs. I hope they manage to recoup costs at least and then learn from it. But wishing a company to fail because of a bad mistake is a bit daft in my opinion. It's not as if people were forced to buy the game. We've known for YEARS that demos/alphas etc. don't fully reflect the retail release. This one was a particular stinker because the demo looked ace but still, if people take the risk of buying before trying then it's their problem, ultimately. I don't know why people are so desperate to play on Day 1 anyway. If you wait literally 1 day all the issues will be up on youtube to see, no matter what the game. There's really no reason at all to risk this any more these days. Same with music, films etc.
 
I can see what you mean, but this is just a disgrace, they have completely lied all these years, shown footage that was a lot better, which was done ages ago, it is false advertising at its very best. People should have a right to get a full refund back on this game due to that, they pre-ordered expecting to get what we have been told and shown throughout those years and then as said, the reviews weren't out till after the game had been released. Yes, most game companies will lie about something or show a gameplay trailer, which won't actually be like the final game, however, not to the same extent as what has happened here.

Thankfully I didn't pay for the game.

I also agree it is stupid to pre-order games these days especially when this seems to be a common occurrence now :( Only time I would pre-order was if it was very cheap i.e. £5-10 for a game that was going to cost £30+

A:CM - fail.

Just seems that whenever you read that a project has been in development hell, and changed hands, you should pretty much expect it to be dire.
 
tbh a lot of games are like this and it has been getting worse i test a lot of games and somethings that go on behind closed doors is a joke.

my favorite of last few years have been red orchestra 2 for eg i told them exactly what was going to happen for eg to the head person in charge. gave him a list of things that should be changed before release.

next my forum account was changed to troll :rolleyes: and i was banded from forum the game released and bombed and what was the reasons for it bombing all those i had put in the email :D how i laughed :p best thing was he even admitted later on about the problems that caused the game to bomb:D

this is why i only stick to games that have great devs behind the scenes now who dont talk bs just to sell you there next game ;)

Yeah im sure any dev would get an email from some random nut on the web demanding changes and do it right away. Not a bit of wonder you got "banded". :confused:

didn't demand anything just said what the faults issues that would hinder the game . also hed listened to previous comments made on issues but ones that would stop game release would not be done ;)

so like this they knew it had a target time for launch. they knew of the issues before hand but like a lot of games now if they need to go out at that launch time they go out regardless then try to patch later :(

the product should be of a good standard before being released not after you got your money which is the true reality. those who are hoping for game changing patches it wont happen look at the previous avp they didn't change anything hardly with that was similar uproar about it.
 
multiplayer looks alright. left 4 dead 2 rip off (one mode at least?)? boiler= boomer, spitter = spitter, alien = hunter, charger?.

Just playing through campaign the now.. not THAT bad but full of silly bugs.

Still pretending to work in the games industry Dg? Recording yourself playing games is still a long way off.
