All New Summer 2008 Transfer Merry Go Round/Rumour Mill

Unless Thaksin gets found guilty and the Premier League cheif's grow a pair and invoke the Fit and Proper Persons rule and deem Thaksin unfit to own a football club I cannot see Vedran at WHL other than when Hughes and his boys get their backsides handed to them on a matchday visit.

The transfer that was scheduled to take place is cancelled and legally in the eyes of the Premier League and as Hughes has publically stated he won't be leaving I accept that. Obviously, if problems at City get worse and finances don't improve there may be a slim chance, but would expect Hughes to offload the wasters to reduce the wage bill first.

If Robinho settles in at Chelsea then he will do very well for them, which is a worry for all concerned.

If they do get him, please make sure its after the deadline for him playing Sunday, we really need all the help we can get, and adding Robinho to their squad for that game gives us even less of a chance to get a point.

Wasn't Kaka made up to get the opportunity to play with Ronaldinho when he arrived. He also was quoted as saying Scheva convinced him to extend his Milan contract back in March. Why would he now be disgruntled by these two?

The only thing I can imagine as a possibility is that Milan may have accepted a large bid as part of the return deal for Sheva. That would just leave Chelsea to agree personal terms with the superstar.

From what I understand Kaka isnt impressed with Ronaldinho's attitude and party lifestyle. Kaka is a Christian and his faith means a lot to him, and everything Ronny does is against that.

As for Sheva, I don't think he was the type of player Kaka wanted at Milan, I believe he feels during his first stint there Sheva was the only player loved by the club more than him. Also, he didn't like the signing of Senderos, but then who would.

Alves has a better goal scoring record. The issue here is that Torres plays for Liverpool and Alves plays for Middlesbrough. A gulf of class, and as I said before, when Alves was getting up to pace in the EPL.

I think Alves is 6 goals in 8 games in the EPL and he was banging them in for fun pre-season.

Bent was banging them in pre-season too.

If Ronaldo can prove his fitness and lose his extra weight he would make an excellent signing. He is a player of World Class calibre and you dont lose that ability, and for free as well.
