Good signing, can't believe he's only 25, he's been around for ages.
 
So Carroll was forced to move to Liverpool now he's being forced to move to West Ham, if he didn't make more in a month than I do in a year I'd almost feel sorry for him :p

I jumped the gun, Lyon have just released this statement, and well it's sums up Levy and what he is all about to a tee.

"Proposals submitted by Tottenham tonight are significantly distant from the principle which was officially recorded on August 26 and had opened up discussions between the player and the London club?"

So it appears we had a deal agreed a couple days ago, and now Levy goes back a few days later and low balls them.... Typical Levy look after the pennies and the pounds look after....

Like I said, Newcastle enquired for a price for his insurance. Clubs do this before they even put in a bid for a player I would imagine. Newcastle enquired about his insurance and having weighed it up it doesn't look like they have bid for him.

I never said Caroll was signing for them.
 
Well Newcastle dropped the ball then, busy messing around with insurances quotes for a player they had on their books not long ago while another club swoops in and signs him :p.

Be quite funny if he bangs 20 in this season :D.
 
Bit gutted we didn't get him back :p

We really need a forward tomorrow or we are ****** come the ACON. Hope we have a busy day tomorrow but we will sign no one I bet.
