All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

Well. I changed onto a different plan about 2 weeks ago.
Got a letter today stating that there was a technical issue and I'd be changed onto a £30 a month plan starting on the 28th Mar.
Promptly asked for a PAC code and cancelled everything.
 
Got my letter today :(

Putting me up to £20 from £12.90, signal has been terrible over last few months at work so already started looking round for another unlimited data provider, but there's only Giffgaff that I can find for sim only that's less than £20.

If they try that with me I'll be doing the same! I know I'd be cutting my nose of to spite my face (as the saying goes) but I'd still tell them to shove it.

If there was a technical problem it's their fault and they should sort it.

Thats the plan I'm on (12.90 - Ultimate Internet SIM 200 1 month)

Still no letter here, can't see it being long though.
 
Got my letter about a fortnight ago, plan increased to £30, tried to get a deal over the phone, but they offered nothing better than what they had on the website.

They actually offered me the offers on the website.

Got my PAC but they haven't reached out to me.

Tried on the website with the adviser and was similarly useless at getting a good deal.

Yet there are reports on here, HDUK about people getting 4gb on £10, and that's what 3 are offering me on £16.... I'm utterly fuming.

Also grabbed a PAC for my other contract with them after this whole scenario.
 
Had my letter finally, i see some people on ukhotdeals are getting unlimited calls/txts + 4gb data for £9.

Funny thing is i only averaged 2gb per month so il be saving £6 a month, nice move Three!

I wouldn't bother with giff gaff their data speeds are horrendously slow at peak times, rumours online say it's due to being on the 3rd tier with priority on the o2 network.

Exactly the same for me. I'm just going to take the BT deal I think. If the coverage is the same as EE I should be fine.
 
I've been on a monthly rolling Essential Internet contract (I think 500mb of data and 200 mins) @ £6.90pcm. Got a letter today saying that they were upgrading me to 1GB, 600mins for £11pcm.

On the one hand I'm slightly annoyed that they can do this. On the other, I've been finding that 500mb isn't enough and I've been running out a few days short here and there. Also, the feel at home thing is incredibly useful - it's probably my main reason for sticking with three.

Also, it's been a few years since I got this contract, and as far as I can see, the same contract is now going for £11. Why has the cost of data/minutes increased over the years? Surely we should be either getting more or getting it for less?

Are people saying three are also moving people away from older unlimited plans and not just the one plan? For example I'm on 200 mins and unlimited data for £15 for which the minimum term ended 3 months ago.

They tried in vain to keep me
Basically I usually use 2 to 3gb a month despite the loyal customer rubbish they couldn't even come close to what I have now and speed is quicker too!

For me it was the dropping on the 15ppm payg addon for unlimited data
I couldn't use the 10ppm 1gb and 20ppm is too much

So on life (EE virtual and owned by EE) and is 12ppm. For 3gb data. Which is spot on.
 
@Teddy3578 yes all unlimited plans are being killed off as far as I know.
