All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

I got my final bill from 3 after porting my number over to ee, they want £13 odd for a weeks worth of usage(between my current billing date starting which was 5th April) and 12 April when the porting completed.

The guy on the phone when I asked for the pac said I'd have to pay for the full month while the 3 support on Twitter said it'll only be between billing date starting and the porting date.

While I can't fully make heads or tales of the bill it mentions early termination fee(£10 before vat), neither the Twitter nor guy on the phone mentioned anything about that. I've been out of contract for ages so there shouldn't be any early termination charges, it's taken almost 1 1/2yrs since the one plan 'cancelation' announcement for me to get the letter from them.

The porting of the number longer than it should have , even with giving the pac on Friday so with the weekend the port should have happened on Monday but nothing come Monday. Got told it should happen on Tuesday, on Tuesday it was partial port as could make out going calls on the ee sim and get incoming calls from a BT and ee number but not other networks or landline while the 3 sim was fully functional. Tuesday got told there is an issue that's been going on for a few days(didn't get told this on Monday) and the port should happen Wednesday/Thursday, the port actually happened between 6-7pm on Tuesday.

Got my letter,
Just called to get pac got offered £17 a month for 12gb data. I would have liked to stay with three but BT Mobile offer £20 a month for 20gb 4g for a year and with £35 quidco and £40 amazon voucher works out at ~ £13.75 a month so I think Ill be going with that.

That's a great deal!

Just cancelled the EE order, will upgrade my 3 plan instead. To the AYCE data with 30GB tethering plan for previous customers. Could someone link the page to me if possible..? :)

Just did the web upgrade thingy on Three website (three.co.uk/new_plans) and went to the £20 a month AYCE data, 200 minutes, AYCE texts and 30GB tethering bundle. I think it should all work on my existing sim? :)

The 30GB tethering will be an absolute godsend, as I can use Spotify on the car stereo! :D (Android HU with WiFi)

My grandad just got the letter for his old plan, trying to get it changed remotely is turning into one hell of a challenge. Asking him for his sim card number to recover his password is a long shot, he struggles with the bloody light switch! :p

I don't know my password either, I don't even remember such password being set up or where it was tbh. 3s response was it's in the my3 app, though I couldn't see it (WP8). In the end they asked me for my postcode and the last couple of digits of the account I pay from.

Tried to upgrade from 4gb tethering to 30Gb from the thread on HUKD, The live chat came back with an additional £2pm for this so I went ahead, The next day the same guy phoned me to tell me he'd made a mistake and if I wanted £30 Gb it would be £9pm extra to which I declined.

Bought the existing customer extra line and transferred my number over via O2 payg. All done. 1st bill is higher at £19 but I'll live with it.

My other sim from 3, £6.90, was transferring to Life Mobile with their uswitch deal at £6 however the transfer of the number failed. PAC expired as they were processing it.

Called for a new pac from 3 and was given the unlimited calls/texts and 4gb data for £9. That's what i wanted originally!

So took the deal at £9.

My sister also got the letter from 3 this week, £12.90 ayce data and 200 mins going to £20, and she is going to do the same thing as me partly because her usage is in the low 30's...

what an ordeal 30 minutes just 2 get a Pac code, soo much aggro, Scottish accent talking to an Indian guy doesn't help, even worse when keep sprouting rubbish over and over again about Vodafone and having to explain what Spotify is.

Best offer was 14 for 4gb and unlimited everything else, saying I was interested in more data less minutes fell flat with language barrier too.

realised my PAC code and cancellation were due to finish tomorrow

so phoned up and went on the 12gb/600 minutes rolling monthly option

its not cheap - but its fairly good value - gives me time to think what to do

to be fair I got through pretty quick, and I said I'd go for the 12gb/600 for £25 a month, and as they put it through they knocked a quid off to £24 even though I didn't quibble so fair enough

will perhaps look again in the summer

I average about 9gb of data a month and about 500-600 minutes

I'm on £22 a month unlimited internet, 300 minutes, unlimited texts. On quidco theres £50 cashback for 12 month sim only more than 4Gb of data.

So, i'm going to change to a 12month sim only for £20 a month, with unlimited internet 200 minutes, unlimited texts and get £50 cashback. Thought some of you may be interested in the cashback :)
