My stuff from prime 99% of the time comes next day and is worth the subscription.
Amazon Prime - Dont have it then you can wait.

I've been Amazon Prime for longer than I care to admit. With an average of 4-8 deliveries a month and a lot more at Christmas/Birthdays it's easily worth it for me on the delivery alone. All the extras are great and used often.
I think the last time I went into a physical shop (not incl. Pubs/Resteraunts/Sandwiches) was when at the airport and bored!

They are almost always very slightly cheaper than anywhere else and the next day delivery has yet to let me down - I really need to move to the annual charge really...
I do suspect you get preferential treatment when you're with Prime - I remember buying the PS4 during a sale and they apparently run out of stock and weren't able to send me anything (They ended up sending the games but no console) - I was mad as hell, but I'm almost certain it wouldn't have been a problem if I was subscribed to Prime at the time.

It's definitely more frequent than that for me. The get out clause is "Prime Expedited". Aren't all Prime items supposed to be expedited?.. as in expedited so they are next day? What's the point in Prime if it's still taking 4 days? Oh that's right, the point is it would have taken over a week otherwise as it's a two-tier system and I should be thankful I'm in the upper tier.
The truth is, I could probably have went to Tesco and picked that cartridge up within an hour. We seem to forget that Amazon has competition and it's sometimes better on price and service.

Currently having a bit of a mare with them, my fault however.
Company recently moved to a new office and I accidentally sent an order to the old one. No problem, my bad. However one parcel has been delivered and 'left with a resident' on a park with dozens of companies and around 2k people. In my mind they should be delivering to the person named on the delivery only, or at very least someone in the company if one is named. In this case they just left it with some randomer! Presumably I don't have a leg to stand on here, however if I had ordered it to my house and they left it with a neighbour, who then denied all knowledge of it, I'd be in the same predicament. Especially as they took no signature.

Where would I find said option?
Even if you have Prime, is organising the delivery still a major problem though ? next day is all well and good, if you can hook up with the delivery.
am I missing a solution they provide, that works ?
- with smaller workspaces was able to have them delivered at work, but with bigger companies they do not want their mail staff tied up with that,
- delivery at home can be equally problematic, if the neigbours and your presence are not predictable.

They still do the Lockers and they work really well.
You can also specify a safe place for your parcel if you aren't going to be in (blue bin, in a shed, round the back gate, left with a neighbour or something like that)

I've been a prime customer for years, no real issues or complaints.
The lockers have been really useful for anything that doesn't fit through the letterbox.
Couple of times they've dropped the ball and without hesisation I've been given a month or 2 extra added onto my subscription when I've contacted them about it.

I can't see it in my account details, but when ordering it is an option when selecting delivery address I think?
They are generally happy to leave in my safe place. It's a little annoying you can't specify your own safe place, so I do it by saying 'Leave with neighbour' then in the address, put my own house number and state my safe place. Generally works.
I also have Ring Video Doorbell so can just tell them where to leave it
I've generally had great service. I remember one time testing a tempered glass screen protector, mashing it with a bottle opener... it shattered. (Phone was fine, it did it's job). Spoke to Amazon on the off chance, was honest, said I was testing it... 'No problem, here's a refund!'.

Hmm, I'm sure I didn't select that as an option. Generally that becomes one when it's dispatched.
Anyway, turns out it's marked as delivered, but still hasn't been delivered yet!
The phones at the previous are still answered, get the driver put through by reception:
Courier: I am at [building] with delivery
Me: We're no longer at that address please deliver to this address [give new one], or return it to the depot as un-deliverable
Courier: OK, I come back tomorrow
Me: N-
Courier: [hangs up]

You post read as you got free Prime subscription due to you signing up with a new email address every month. I have read it back and it still says that.

The flow of the post implies you got your prime subscription from multiple email accounts, the "still had a prime subscription" does not mean you paid for it, not after you just put what you wrote immediately before it. Can you really blame me to read it that way when you put down 2 sentence implying you cheat the system? There clearly is a lack of fact to suggest that you had a paid subscription, then lost it and then cheat the system.

The same day delivery is PrimeNow and available in a few Cities in the UK - Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Sheffield and they use different buildings to the normal Amazon warehouses for it which is why its not everywhere.
80-90% of items go via Amazon Logistics now rather than normal carriers, as they were not able to keep up with peak demand, so Amazon made their own network, gives them 7 days delivery which is great.
I ordered some cat litter and that was prime, but took a few days to arrive but so far never had any real delivery issues, but do use the lockers as well

You selectively quoted me saying that, as proof of what you thought. I said they wouldn't refund my prime subscription after banning my account. How does that tell you that I never paid for it?
