Amazon Prime - Dont have it then you can wait.

Another tip for that is when you're prime, don't order multiple things at once. Order them all in separate orders using the free delivery option :)

On the back of that, if you're ordering more than 1 item in a day, space the orders, select next day for one of them, select the rest as slow delivery with £1 credit, a lot of the time they'll get bundled together and you get the credits.

Now that is a very clever idea! I'll be using that for sure in the future.

Prime was one of those things I didn't know I needed until I had it. 3 years now and I wouldn't dare cancel it!

If you use Amazon for perishables then yes have to accept you will pay like for delivery like the supermarkets - is the Amazon system now competititive. ?

But for non-perishables, including battery example, as foxeye said, I adopt forward planning and bulk buy in advance, so you do tie up money and home space in personal stock ;)
eg some random examples - toothbrushes, flour, instant coffee, toilet rolls, water filters 6months supply, coin batteries several years supply.

For other miscellaneous purchases eg kitchen bin, led bulbs, garden/diy tools, cables.
tend to put it in the basket, perform product analysis(read review/OC etc) over several weeks to determine correct product, so in that context next day delivery is not needed; I am not an impulsive buyer so no buy in haste regret at leisure.

same day is fantastic for houshold stuff in cites.

ie bulb goes, can hunt around trying to find a shop that sells that type and then get ripped off or order a pack/pretty much any specalist bul youd need and have it there in a few hours with zer ffort? perfect

But if it was such an amazing deal, things like Zona and Kodi wouldn't exist :p

I found the content on Prime and Netflix a bit limited for the money. You get a couple of good shows, but not ALL the good shows. Then mainly B movies, or ones that bombed in cinemas.

tbh even if there was a service that provided access to any piece of film, music or literature for a fiver a month, thered still be kodi

Maybe, but another big attraction to it there is no BS like registering and making an account, or region locks etc. Just open it up and play whatever. No one is going to steal your details in a hack, which is a bit ironic :p

Very clever. Going to try this next time.

In my brief look at Kodi, it was a lot more work than watching something on Netflix or Amazon Prime.

I just cancelled mine, can't stop myself spending on crap every day lol. I'll get it back in a few months again haha
I've just done exactly the same, for the same reasons. It was too easy to buy cheap impulse buys and have them delivered same day or next. I will leave it a few months and get it back again when I need something urgent or there is something I really want to watch on Prime Video. But a break is good.

Or you could get this book by tomorrow if you order soon and sort things out that way. :D

I like my Prime, well worth it even if not an excessive Amazon buyer :)
The other day my ecig died, quick look around on Amazon, new one coming the next day! Have to admit I don't really make use of the streaming service though, so I can see why if you don't order much from Amazon you wouldn't find Prime worth it.

I have no issue with the fact if you do not use Prime you are a second tier customer, kind of inevitable really - especially the more popular Prime becomes, the harder it is to keep up with demand which means the non-members will suffer.

Thank you :)

A while back I ordered some stuff off Amazon - when I placed the order, the items were all "in stock" and I assumed that I would get them fairly quickly. It soon became clear that they were not going to arrive in the timeframe that I wanted. I cancelled the order and reordered them with an Amazon Prime trial - they arrived next day.

Amazon are deliberately delaying delivery to "encourage" people to signup for Amazon Prime.

yes - should be like online gambling where you can demand to online companies to be banned, and they have to pay you if they inadvertantly let you re-subscribe-

That could be that the initial item was via a 3rd party, when you went via prime it favours amazon held stock.

Haha yeah that would do the trick.
Sometimes it's useful things, other times crap.
Other week for example the toilet roll holder in our new bathroom started spinning and the bracket needed an Allen key to tighten, only one of that size was on a cycling multi tool and it was an arse to squeeze the body of the tool into the gap.
5 mins later I've spent £7.99 on a 50 piece Allen key set that's coming tomorrow haha.

I don't really miss Amazon prime video we barely use it with having Netflix, only thing I've ever watched on it was The Tick last week before my prime subscription ran out.

For free stuff, Amazon owns Twitch which then gives out a few free things in games to prime holders. Apparently the PubG package was good but I missed it, free games even I got Day of the Tentacle
