Yeah I have 4x8GB sticks of Crucial 3200mhz CL16 working just fine. Just loaded XMP and left it at thatMines at the airport, or at least some airport. Just had 16GB more RAM delivered. Assuming these run fine at stock with 4 sticks of 3200 for others here?
Pbo isn't what you want for a non 3d chip but it seems very few people know? The only reason I'd consider is because I can't set any PBO offset on my 5800X - the system becomes instantly unstable - but I'm under a full WC loop so the temps don't bother me too much
Mine runs 2x16gb at 3600mhz had no boot at 3800 that my 3800xt could do.
3733mhz limit is pretty standard for AM4 chips running 1:1.
3733 me too with 4 sticks. As others have said it’s very game dependent. I went from a 5800x to a 5800x3d some games no difference. Some older games were actually slower. The Sony games I play did seem a lot smoother.Yeah that's the highest i managed to get.
That's the trouble. One upgrade leads to another, then another and so on lol. I'm trying to think of something else I "need".Mine arrived this morning, long live AM4! Now for a better GPU...

Also, I suggest the 7900 XTX for a GPU. Price is coming down and can be had reasonably with fantastic performance.

Me three! 2 8gb sticks.3733 me too with 4 sticks. As others have said it’s very game dependent. I went from a 5800x to a 5800x3d some games no difference. Some older games were actually slower. The Sony games I play did seem a lot smoother.
OCUK B Grade + 7800XT + offer = happy you?!7900XTX Ha! £300 is my max for a GPU. Currently have a 6600XT which is mostly fine at 1080 and older games at 4K
