My order time is 14:33:26 for the Sapphire 6800XT. Email arrived 14:40. No word yet. Probably about 3 minutes late by the sounds of it..

I didn't think to check this forum and I lost so much time on account of the GPU page not listing the categories. I actually thought that maybe this site wasn't even selling them. Then when the site got really slow I figured they must be here, and I tried ordering the GPU page by "Most Recent". And suddenly they showed up.

Still took me another 10 minutes to fight through the errors and hangs to actually get an order placed.

Oh well, fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my hopes up.

Dont they have them in stock in other stores? Not to point out to competition but (I see they are stocked in all models at one MAJOR UK retailer) I thought its getting stocked around stores.

Unfortunately, so much of what we'd like to tell you is tied up with NDAs. Whether we can tell you anything about the cards or not before launch is entirely up to AMD. To give you some idea, until first thing this morning we'd been told that we weren't even allowed to inform you about the AIB launch next week.

Any way you can confirm how many orders went in as pre-orders rather than for the stock you had available before pre-orders got taken down? And will you be getting more stock of the cards you had today along with the AIB's next week?

I have no idea if I got allocated a Unit or not. However having thought about it some more and having seen the benchmarks, I merely only want to cancel my order, but god damn 40 minutes on the phone later and nope no answer. No response on facebook. So I guess my only option is to open a paypal dispute......... Thank god for that reassurance.

It depends what you're sitting on at the moment though... if you've got a RTX 2080 in your machine then why not wait a few months? But if like a lot of people you didn't buy that 2080 and decided to hold off half a year or so longer for the September 3080 launch and then ended up missing out and having to wait another couple months for the BigNavi launch... at some point you care less about the nice to haves and just want something that can play the latest releases.

I've got a 980 Ti. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a 6800XT now, but I'm not sure I want a reference model. I won't be overclocking nor water cooling so I'm happy to wait.

Gibo already said earlier in this thread - no ETA for more of these cards, hence no pre-orders. Anyone who go outside the stock will get order canceled and refunded instead.

We've shipped about 60 cards so far, we're working through them.

In case you missed my earlier post. Any customers who placed their order too late will be contacted within the next few hours via email and we'll begin to process cancellations after that (since it will take a while to manually process so many). There is no need to contact us. You'll know for sure one way or another very soon.

I was actually checking availability to know what to expect when the 6900xT gets released next month, but it seems the dodgy launches continue...

Anyway back to wait for the 3090 i ordered.

BTW @Gibbo ordering 50k units , that's what i call having faith! Will be 2022 and he will be still getting 30units at a time...

Looks like his auction went up to £12k and has now ended as sold, hope OCUK cancelled his order
