**AMD Fiji Thread**

I think I'm looking at the G1 now then - with perhaps a glance at the MSI variant.

I need the best performance at 1440p (with decent enough pricing) and right now, that isn't the Fury X. Hopefully AMD sell lots though.

I wont be pre-ordering yet until I see how it over-clocks & if they unlock the voltage.

At the moment they are comparing against a stock TI, a card which currently can over-clock by 25%+ (A very silly thing to do).

The difference between these two cards may be far more significant than the benchmarks imply (in favour of team green).

Whats with all the nvidia fanboys saying RIP AMD... £509 RRP for a card that beats stock 980ti's in every regard.. overclocking is a different story but you can't really judge that yet.

I'm sure with newer drivers and custom bios these cards will get better and better. Voltage control would also add a lot.

£509.99 for a GPU that comes with AIO trades blows with Nvidia's best and runs at 49C is pretty impressive.

For those on the fence the custom Fury (Non X) cards should be more appealing, with cheaper price points. And if they aren't Nano might be the one.

AMD have done well imho. GM200 is a beast, Fury X is a beast.

Expected about 10% more from the Fury X considering the preceding monthes of hype and the technology that went into it. For 650 I dont see why you wouldnt just get the best 980Ti possible and not have to wait 1 or 2 weeks

Everyone mentioning £649 that was a massive price gouge lol.... its £509... you can buy it right now for £550 in stock on a competitor, £520 on another but they are out of stock...

(Although for £649 I agree, would have to be dumb to buy one)

So basically AMD is not bundling the card with anything and it loses in pretty much every game to the 980 ti - what are they thinking? I ordered one for 729€, but I am seriously thinking about cancelling that order and changing it to a gtx 980 ti instead as that comes with arkham knight that I can easily sell for 30-40€ to make up the difference. The GTX 980 ti also overclocks like a beast, so why would anyone buy the Fury x?

Seeing some of the reviews so far, I may be tempted to go Green. I’ve never been Green, I went from a 3dFX Voodoo 3 3000 onto a ATI 9500 and have been Red since, but this release isn’t doing much to inspire me to stay

I’ll read more reviews over the coming days, and see how well they overclock. Hopefully they’ll show to be better than what seems to be coming across at the moment.
