Once windows 10 comes out enjoy dx12 on your AMD card.
DX12 is a bit confusing for some atm as we dont have windows 10 out yet.

Someone posted before the thread closed that Fiji is confirmed GCN 1.2, not 1.3 as some people expected. Anyone got a source for that?
1.2 makes sense. Fiji is basically bigger Tonga with HBM
All GCN GPUs support DX12. There is no such thing as full DX12 really.

Thanks. I am impressed by Fiji's 275W TDP with the same architecture as Tonga, as that was only 85W less but had less than half the cores! Ofc, TDP != Power consumption, but its generally an ok indicator.

I read they are 400mm, should be more than long enough. Done a rough measure on my Corsair 780t, will have no problem putting it anywhere in the case

Ouch Fury FP64 performance is twice slower than 390X, absolutely useless to bitcoin miners and also has no HDMI 2.0 port too.
Good. They need payback to how they destroyed pricing for a good chunk of last year

No one bitcoin mines on GPU's anymore anyway, its hilarious inefficient compared to ASICs
No HDMI 2.0 is kinda meh, but I am sure there will be an cable/adapter you can get from DP if you really need that.

I'm really intrigued to see the dual card of the fury x. If they sort the few crossfire problems I think that will be what I grab around Christmas time. Seeing as it's only 6 months away 
Meh don't see why you'd use hdmi unless you want audio over it
Tempted to grab one but how hot and loud are they compared to a 980?
My first 280x was loud as hell, think it was windforce too the card ran at stupid temps compared to the 280x I got instead
kinda put me off amd since the first card was like having a hair drier inside my pc case
EDIT yup was a Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X Rev2.0 WindForce 3X OCI (I think the fans were always at 80%+ gaming and the temp something stupid like 70-80c+ creplaced it with Asus Radeon R9 280X DirectCUII TOP which was much quieter and about 10c cooler
But if AMD still have a rep for stupidly hot cards again this generation I think I'll pass

The Fury x is stated to be 32db with watercooling.
50c with typical gpu applications also stated.

The fury x runs at 32db and 50 0c according to AMD so most likely the quietest and coolest running card on the market. This is due to the aio water cooler on it.
