I didn't think this was that complicated, but as simple as possible

FURY X = watercooled... the 'X' denotes watercooling. Take away the watercooling and you are left with the...

FURY = air-cooled, probably ever so slightly slower card as a result... we don't know exactly yet. These won't be available until July.

You won't be able to get an air cooled 'X'... no such card exists.

No wrong way round. Gibbo says he has enough stock now to sell out withint 60 seconds.

That stock is available with premium of £100 at £649 for those who cant wait.

At the same time, you can preorder and the normal price of £549 but it might be a week or so before you get your pre-order.

Pro we know is definitely a cut down furyx so the difference between them is more than the cooler.

This - dont think we were too sure at the start but it seems like the non X will also be a cut down version (im still hoping its all faff but time will tell)
 
I saw that too, but that was old information and the most recent information about the fury is in the fury X annoucement. Lisa did not mentioned anything about cut down, Lisa just mentioned an air cooled version of the fury X. So its not definitely, its an unconfirmed rumour and should be treated as such.

The GPU looks to be made of a nice aluminium casting, finished in a soft to touch black coating and a black gloss. The front plate is removable and AMD are stating that they expect modders to design their own plates with 3d printing systems. It won’t affect the cards functionality or cooling, as the cooling will be done by the attached water cooling loop with a radiator.

Front plate may be removable, but it's INVISIBLE and OUT OF SIGHT when in your case!! I don't understand this. It could be the most hideous design in the world and no-one would ever see it... yet they make it look really nice and deprive us of it. Madness I tell you!!

yes it is a rumour, however until it is confirmed either way it is also a rumour that the Fury is a full fat X but with an air cooler

the other leaked information was accurate, but make of that what you will

Yes, you just said what I said. Its rumours, thus should be treated as such. All we know is by fact Lisa Su said that the Fury is an air-cooled version of the Fury X, nothing else. So make of that what you will.
