**AMD Fiji Thread**

Who likes wearing stuff on their head while gaming? Will be uncomfortable, unsociable. Perhaps even eye straining. Sometimes you just want to turn your head left but you don't need the display to also do so.

Since trying the Rift DK2 myself, it has become VERY easy to spot when someone hasn't. Comparing VR to 3D is the definition of unfair. The immersion aspect changes EVERYTHING. You'll see for yourself eventually I hope.

You dont look at the case when your gaming mate.:D
No but that's not the point... the whole point of having a window (and many people do), is to be able to see your components. The fact your're not looking at them when gaming is irrelevant. It's like saying what does it matter what colour car you have, or even what it looks like, as you don't see it when you're driving.

Given how 'special' the Fury X is shaping up to be, I want to see it in all its glory... not some cheap matt plasticy back with a load of stickers over it. That's criminal in my opinion. I'd seriously consider buying a case that shows it off as it deserves to be.

its okay for people who want to use it for just an hour or two
if thats the majority of people these days im not sure!

the people who make the headsets do they really care how long someone uses it aslong as they buy one?
there's a lot of possibilities with it tho and they will get it right its just a matter of time

The VR tech is early. once your screen was 50kilo and now its 5.
once your computer was a whole building now it fits in a watch.
VR once it take off have innovation with the headset.

Fury is awesome.
Its why you see so much talk about it as it all new technology the future today.
I buy one and one day when I upgrade I frame it onto a wall and show kids thats when this what your using today started from.:D

So if the Fury x trades blows with the 980 Ti i wonder how many will go with that instead just for the extra vram? Since prices will practically be the same either way i guess it's almost a toss up.

I suspect a huge win in the Minfps arena for Fury.
Thats a big thing for gamers with bigger resolutions well all resolutions really.

So what cases will actually show the Fury X the CORRECT way round? Clearly there is absolutely no need for it to be upside down given it has the AIO. Unless perhaps something can be afixed to cover up that rather unattractive area that will be shown?

Ye, we'll see. I hope that's the case, if it is then I'll be getting one even though I'm "only" using 1080p.

Hey only 1080p is pretty darn daunting even with todays games maxed out.
:) I went eyefinity and now I cant play with one screen sadly.
I hesitate to try VR as I guess then I be like a teenage girl smiling at a knight for years to come saving her on a white horse.:D
