**AMD Fiji Thread**

I'm sure Overclockers would risk their partnering and reputation for a meaningless amount of money... Perhaps if you offered them a few million they would consider giving you a GPU before release.
 
OcUK, well Gibbo to be precise, have/has said that after pre-orders the Fury X will likely have a £100 premium until stock levels settle down.

I think £550 will be the base price, what he's trying to say for EG is:

100 Fury X's @ £550 all sell out, new stock arrives a few weeks later, because demand is high they can put the price up, people will pay whatever AMD ask if the card is in high demand.

A £100 price hike though i'm not sure, depends just how high demand will be.
 
He said stocks for launch are really low,and will be priced accordingly(£600-£650).So they will certainly sell out in mintes
Pre-orders will also go live for £550,and people will get their cards as the supply arrives over the coming month/s

I think it's okay, The fact it doesn't look like a Transformer is a big plus. I'd have to see it built to know for sure but the actual shape and size seems nice and would make a great box for a non overclocked pc with something like a 4790k and 980ti or air cooled Fiji in it.

Agreed, I can't see it becoming how people game all the time but I reckon it would be great as part of an immersion building system such as a car racing set up, You'd be sat in your car/ gaming seat with your wheel and pedals in front of you and you'd be wearing a crash helmet/ vr kit while your missus stands in front of you holding a 16" house fan (wind simulator) while you race an Ariel Atom around Silverstone :) Sounds like great fun to me. EDIT: She'll probably think you're a total wally and divorce you but hay Good times.
