what about DVI-adapters for 120/144Hz Monitors without DP??

we have a lot of popular monitors (i.e. benq xl2410, xl2411t, xl2411z ) out there, but no one can use it with a fury card.

i found only 1 very expensive adapter from startech.

Yes and no. UK law has changed and OCUK's terms have followed the changes, you still have 14 days to cancel the contract but OCUK reserves the right to charge a restocking fee.

In practice, if you return something in as good condition as you possibly can, they wont sting you, but if you started trying it on with buying multiple GPU's etc then they would kick up a fuss.

Basically the law says you can inspect the item as you would in a shop, so arguably for something like a monitor you should be able to try it, but a shop wouldn't let you bring in your machine and see how well a card overclocks so...

If you're sensible and don't kick the thng about the place then you should be alright.

Its a good change in the Law IMO, as you say it gives the customer the opportunity to inspect an online purchase as they would if they were in a shop on the high-street while also protecting the retailer from people with a mind to abuse that system.

At the end of the day we all want our favourite retailer to do well and pay good wages for good staff.
