**AMD Fiji Thread**

Doesn't matter what it is really, all that matters is its stock. I would imagine its the same as hawaii cards, 1.18v. You have to be pushing seriously high volts to damage the hardware, so I doubt they would allow over volting to the point where you damage the card.

Yes, thats all that matters. Who cares what it is at the end of the day? I guess for pushing the limits of the hardware doing extreme overclocking maybe?
 
^ I was gona try that as well, was a nope :p

Just found that monitor needs the v2 firmware, regardless of wether you're using the FreeSync or not, so i'll have to check it tomorrow, so could be going be back, which is likely, as v2s are not due till 1st July on supposedly. :( :D

Still, it may take me a couple of weeks or so to get a Fury, so no hurry :p

Why not just have the Fury X on the back fan and nothing in the bottom? You don't really have anything else generating heat in the case and the fans on the H105 and Fury X should provide enough airflow to circulate the air out of the case well enough. You could always have the back 120mm fan pulling air up through the bottom into the case too. You don't run the risk of low pressure then.
 
Fury X won't fit at rear as H105 sticks out so only a single 120mm can fit in the back.

@ Davedree PSU at bottom of case, would be next to the FURY X Radiator.
 
Oh... great.

Maybe what you have now but spin the back 120mm around pulling cool air in? That way you can cool both the CPU and GPU with fresh air from outside and quickly exhaust it out and no low pressure problem again.
I see its very common to have that back fan sucking air in with a 2 rad CPU AIO.
 
No way of mounting it at the front behind the "giant fan"?

I'd be surprised if you couldn't fit it at the back fan though even with the 105.

As not much gap below, and sitting on a carpet, plus the manual supposedly says its got to be higher than the card :D

Probably worth a try, but with it only being around 2.5 inches all in (fnarr fnarr :p), i'll be able to get it at the rear, as got just under 3.5 inches gap to squeeze it in, or i could see (which from looking it may do), if i can squeeze it into my 5.25 drive cage, as im only using the top slot.

I take it you psu is a slimline itx type?
How would your psu flow would be out towards the bottom like the fury?

If so I could see some air flow problems with heatsoaking in the case.
 
I'll be throwing this into a storm trooper in rear fan. Using a h105 on top. Should do the trick nicely.

I have some noctua industrialppc fans here. So wondering if I should use on of them.
 
The 980 may have a claimed TDP of 165W, but its actual power draw is well over 200W (as in ~230W).

AMD claiming 175W TDP usually means about 165~185W in power draw with the GCN architecture. (R9 290X TDP: 300W, power draw: 260~330W).

Also, I fully suspect the R9 Nano will be around 10~15% faster than the 980 at that power.
