AMD freesync coming soon, no extra costs.... shocker

Not that i particularly care either way, but i side with Shanks because using Supersampling renders the images at higher resolution before downscaling them to your current resolution. 1080P + x4 AA should be possible to keep 60fps minimum in the majority of todays games. Crysis 3 might be an exception mind.

I don't agree with the supersampling thing either but still games like Planetside 2, ARMA 3 don't run anywhere near 120fps constant.

Ah so you just play £A trash then, nevermind :p

Not familiar with those games, so fair enough. Are they cpu limited games though? Cpu limited games are a different kettle of fish usually when you're talking about dual gpu performance maintaining 60fps minimum at 1080P.

Plus one internets. Its technically not 1080p anymore

Planetside 2 is apparently GPU limited for me. 120fps would be great. I can get 120fps, but it's not really consistent.

i dont understand this argue
if u enjoyed games at 120hz why wouldnt you be playing games at that?
why would you fire up sniper elite at 4xmsaaawavewillyaroundpointlesssetting

if you into fast paced fps, 4k is a downgrade right now, and maybe for a long time

It's not about that though is it Mei, it's about saying every game you play runs at 120fps on max settings consistently which not many here are going to believe.

If he said I tweak the settings to get as close to 120fps as possible then yeah.

But I do run the games I have played on max settings at them frame rates - like I said crisis 3 what I cap at 90fps

1+ agreed

Nvidia and the Acer 4K combo are the best experience with 4K gaming probably right now.

well makes more sense than the double priced 24inch tn's to me :)
if you into eye candy maybe its worth the $
as a general display i dont think its a great windows experience
i want something bigger than 28inch, glossy screen, and not a tn
there isnt that choice yet
gfx card grunt isnt the main issue
