It seems rather strange AMD would send their review parts from Finland,when they have no offices in that country!

That would explain it then as he works for AMD.

Is it a test sample? its possible that its doing its rounds to reviewers.

Stulid any chance any of them are the new Fx-9000? I'd love to know if it overclocks at all. I have the Fx-8350 at 4.8ghz and can bench at 5ghz but not comfortable running 1.5v through it for every day usage.

It's a metallic dark grey colour, wrapping is cheaper than a respray and can be removed.

That's only because for 5ghz you need to pump 1.5V or something ridiculous through it, for reference a 4.6ghz 2700K on a sensible voltage uses about 130W and a 3930K at 4.6ghz uses about 190W (both under Prime95).

I bet these CPU's can't even run Prime95 without throttling.

My 3930K draws over 500W when overclocked, mileages vary due to volts.

From memory mine slurps on around 520W at 4.7GHZ @ 1.45-1.48V

Skies the limit at 5GHZ @ 1.56V

It will only draw under 190W at default volts and clocks.

I don't know, it varies hugely, but i think you would be surprised how many watts a 2700K pulls at 5Ghz

TDP isn't power draw.
And this CPU isn't 5GHZ!

A 2600K at 5GHZ (Proper 5GHZ, under all load) going 100% would have a pretty high TDP/Power draw.
