"AMD"Gaming evolved DVR beta

Rapr updated, but feature is disabled, presumably because my R7 265 is seen as a 7800 series graphics card under 13.12 drivers on Vista-64.

Well crossfire recording works great.Tested 6 games no problems so far.No crashes ,it just works for me.

So some Watch_dogs screens with some AMD and quick crossfire video.

LOL did those screens up because I was excited about crossfire support.Share them sounds good.I did up about 50 AMD signs in Watch_dogs .

Hey anyone read this about GVR. Supports Nvidia also and that's great

If you’ve got an AMD card that supports VCE 1.0 or 2.0 (basically Radeon HD77XX series and up) or an Nvidia GeForce 600/700 GPU, you should be all set to use GVR. We’ve added Crossfire support with this release, and Mantle support is on the way.

Better than Shadowplay?

QuickShot thinks so
Using AMD's VCE you can stream/record with almost no performance loss, at better low bitrate quality then Shadowplay. I have seen a few posts asking about VCE options. So I talk a bit about that here. I have found VCE to be a better quality option then shadowplay. It only needs a bit more support. Watch the video to see what I think or just head to the respective forums for the programs themselves :) Enjoy and good recording ;)

Whats even better? is to use AMD's superb VCE you dont after just use the Gaming Evolved app you can use Dxtory, so not only do you get the stunning feature from what I would say THE best recording software out there, you also get the stunning 2% performance hit :D

Mah Grid really? Lol and metro an nvidia game mah

Check out a much better review here, different story.

And why is that one better?
It uses Metro (Last Light), which can't be too much different from 2033 can it?
Also, Crysis 3, BF4 and Thief are all Gaming Evolved games.

I also can't see any ShadowPlay results there.

I think what both results show us is that performance drop differs from game to game, which I actually find a little surprising if the hardware used for the recording is mostly separate.

Better because it means more to me, shows games I play. Grid Haaa really? Who cares about grid because I don't. Reason I said this better.

Better for you then, maybe not better in general.
I don't care about any of the games in either of them so to me they're both a waste of time.

EDIT:
If the Anandtech one showed the results for ShadowPlay and FRAPS or Dxtory as well so you had something to compare to I think it'd be more useful. At least you could see if the games generally suffered much of an impact from being recorded or if it was the GE app that was particularly good. If Dxtory was only 3 frames worse and ShadowPlay was +/- 1 fps, then you'd know it's something about the game, if the other apps were 10 or 20 fps worse then you'd know the GE app was doing something well. As it is it gives little context.

Well think I did make that clear. If you have any better site comparing the two and showing proper games feel free to post.

Thats not better as it doesnt show one vs the others like the other link its just a review of one program
Very hard to compare the quality and performance hit of two or more programs when only one is mentioned
http://www.gamersnexus.net/game-bench/1561-shadowplay-vs-fraps-vs-gvr-recording-benchmark
That has 3 for comparison

Would be nice for some you guys with fast fibre connection to maybe record and upload to sites like Onedrive or Googledrive Etc this way we will get past the Youtube compression and get to see the files in there one to one.

Nice, Shanks. should make a thread out of it where others can submit all sorts of games :)

Not bad idea, or maybe Mod can change the thread tile to something like AMD and Nvidia benchmarks for Shadowplay and DVR.

After figure out some rules to follow. and the uploading of recorded footage not good for Youtube. So for time being that will be me out of uploading my poor internet speeds. Fibre very soon though :D

LOL like tomb raider and thief are must have games, That link was there to show how much of a performance hit 3 recording programs have in some games, not to make one look better, it was a recent review and more in depth than anything else i could find.

If all amd users want is amd to look better in everything ever made, then of course i will stay out of all amd threads untill i buy an amd card.
