28% improvement at 1440P with a 6 core cpu. Expect bigger improvements with a lesser cpu.

You might recall I have been ranting on and on about how Mantle will work wonders on Multiplayer gaming because the situation is so CPU bound. Well, I have finally gotten my hands on standardized Battlefield 4 Multiplayer Benchmarks with Mantle. Since Multiplayer is an extremely tricky thing to benchmark because the conditions change with every run, these benches are quite unique.

That's for user benchmarks/feedback. You should know that Rusty, otherwise Greg's thread would have been merged with it.

My figures are correct rusty. 27.8% improvement at 1440P and 25% at 4k.

No they aren't.

48.6 / 45 = 1.08

i.e. 8%

Or are you looking at something else? OP doesn't make it clear.

Think it's the crossfire benchmarks Lt's on about but they are 1600p.

8% on single card is a bit meh IMO. Need to see what it's like when it's been implemented from the off as opposed to patched in.

All I after say is Mantle Rocks

Battlefield 4 has never felt so good on my system running Mantle.
The difference is night and day even when the frame rate take a drop Mantle still feels smooth as butter, were on DX it's choppy mess at times.

Higher frame rates and extra smoothness is not to be sniffed at tbh.

Have dice patched the extra fogging out in the recent patch?

You won't notice 8%. It's not high enough a percentage. 25%+ on CF isn't to be sniffed at though, you're right there.

Mantle is smoother than dx on it's own without the extra fps according to those that have it running properly. Yea crossfire needs more cpu power and it could be the case that the more cards you add the more gains you get.
