If the 6900XT is 10% faster than 3080 that is basically a 3090 level of perf so I think they'll charge accordingly, prob no less than $1000, as this thing is meant to be super limited anyway in terms of stock.

You may well be right, I just think with the RT performance deficit AMD may be more cautious with pricing. I know it's a small niche and not important to most users but still.

Ignoring the leaks/hype I could see the 6800XT will be the card shown by AMD at the CPU that comes within spitting distance of the 3080, and that would have decent availability and come in at $550-600. The XTX or 6900 would then be the limited 3080 beater commanding higher prices. If this turns out to be the case I'd see them as good cards, I won't judge a card on performance relative to hype.

Why are some of you getting so mad over clickbaiters/shills/corperate simps/ fanboys etc..Some of you need to look in the mirror youre no different.

Blind fanboyism is real, some of you get a moral compass when people play the same game as you. :confused:

The worst one i've seen so far is gamers nexus doing an assassination job on AMD just before a major launch, over a rebranded bike, expected a lot more from them than that.

Yer that stunk to high heaven and surprised me greatly, though Steve has also been totally defending nvidia and the stock situation claiming its just "Higher than normal demand not a stock shortage".

Lost allot of respect for Gamer Nexus the last couple weeks.

My thoughts are in a similar spot.. Although I think your name scheme's off but the general idea is about where I am.. I think knock £50 off the 6800, £30 off the XT... then the XTX/6900XT could go anywhere... It depends where yields are, but they could price it to humiliate nVidia at like £750 (literally half the 3090) or if poorer yields anywhere up to £1000

And plus 10% raster performance to your estimates and minus 10% RT.

So;

6800 - 3070+10% raster.... $449
6800XT - 3080+10% raster... $599
6900XT - who knows? 3090+10% raster... $749-999

This is kinda wishful thinking, but the leaks have all been pretty hype tbh.

If the 6900XT is faster than the 3090 and comes in at $749, I will right now cancel my 3090 order and swap to the 6900XT and use the money saved to upgrade my TV to the LG CX so I can use freesync
