6800 non xt version.. is going to be something like 15% faster than 3070 at least... with 16GB vram instead of 8GB... for almost the same price.

Nvidia is lauching a 3070ti .. why ?? Because 6800 non xt walks over 3070!!

not only that but it is said that 6700xt has almost 2080ti performance ( very close)( litle bit more performance than Xbox) .. 175w Card... and it´s a 400$ card

sorry have I missed the amd event? We’re has these prices come from? As far as we know the 6800xt could be 1000£ the 6800 could 800£ and the 6700xt could 600£ :)

Right then people bit of fun before tomorrows reveal... lets see predictions on Performance and price, i'll start with mine

6700 - 5% slower than 2080ti - £419
6800 - 10% slower than 3080 - £620
6800XT - 5% faster than 3080 - £700
6900 - 10% faster than 3080 - £850

all complete guesses with no real proof or anything other than gut feeling :)

I could have sworn I saw news that cyberpunk had gone gold already... while it’s good that they aren’t launching a buggy mess when it’s not ready, expectations are going to be pretty high when it comes to bugs with all these polishing delays.

Good for AMD though if it gives them time to get the cards out and drivers polished up before arguably the biggest game of the year.

I think persoanlly

6800 (64 cu) on par with the 2080ti/3070 at 499.99
6800xt (72 cu) similar performance of the 3080 at 629.99
6800xtx (80cu) halo product 999.99

I don’t think the 6700 will be a product tomorow and will be announced 2021 to go against 3060 keeping amd naming in check as direct upgrade for 5700xt

but I also predict that msrp won’t matter as they will sell out in minutes and they we get 7-800 6800xt just like the 3080 :)

It has, its the day 1 patch that its being delayed for apparently.

Oh wait a minute... AMD's market cap is $95 Billion (Before Xilinx acquisition) and rising, Intel's market cap is $190 Billion and falling, AMD long term debt 370 Million, Intel long term debt 36 Billion, AMD debt is 3% of their value, Intel's debt is 18% of their value.

That's one way of looking at it
I just pulled out Intel's cash flow statement from yahoo (trailing 12m)

Op cash flow 35 billion
Investments 20 billion

That debt position doesnt fundamentally look bad given how they are investing like mad men

Here's mine

6800 beats a 3070 by 5% but 20% slower in RT £450
6800 xt beats a 3080 by 5% but 20% slower in RT £599
6900 or 6800xtx slightly slower than a 3090 20% slower at RT £999

Day after then Nvidia launches

3070 ti - Beats a 6800 in both RT and raster - replaces 3070 price
11/12Gb 3080 ti - beats a 6900 or 6800xtxt in both RT and raster - £1100

Leaves 3080 alone as they will now have a gaming flagship again which they can claim is the fastest.

My thoughts are in a similar spot.. Although I think your name scheme's off but the general idea is about where I am.. I think knock £50 off the 6800, £30 off the XT... then the XTX/6900XT could go anywhere... It depends where yields are, but they could price it to humiliate nVidia at like £750 (literally half the 3090) or if poorer yields anywhere up to £1000

And plus 10% raster performance to your estimates and minus 10% RT.

So;

6800 - 3070+10% raster.... $449
6800XT - 3080+10% raster... $599
6900XT - who knows? 3090+10% raster... $749-999

This is kinda wishful thinking, but the leaks have all been pretty hype tbh.

Pretty good conclusions, id definitely take the 6800XT if faster than the 3080 in Raster but slower in RT for £600.. all day long, i can imagine that would sell in droves, the 6800 @ that spec and £450 would also sell by the truckload.

does that include the magical ocuk "exchange rate" tax ?

My big issue with 4K for me is the poor state of monitor technology. It hardly seems to have improved in years, barely does HDR, with issues. Still using IPS or VA with their inherent problems and very expensive Vs TV's.

I'll move up when you can get something with OLED like visuals, no burn in, high refresh, HDR (1000nit+), 32"+ and £750 or less.

I think I'll be waiting a long time :(

I think you will too only because what your asking exists but triple what you want to spend maybe more. Saying that it doesnt take long in the TV technology to filter down to reasonable prices so maybe we will be lucky to get most of them features sub £700 in a year?

This is mine

SKU1
-5 to 10% of 3080 will be launched at $599
-10 to -5% $549

SKU0
10% to 25% of 3080 should be a reasonably high price
25%+ this would be in the eye watering territory

Its high risk, AMD long-term debt is just a credit float, they could pay it off tomorrow if they wanted to, they keep it to keep a credit record. AMD are all but technically not: Debt free.

Intel's 36 Billion is real and its high, Intel's net income is around $5 Billion a quarter, that is what they have after costs of sales, that's 7 quarters worth of debt while Intel's revenues are in decline, they are also borrowing more every quarter, which suggests that $5 Billion net income is not money banked. AMD's much more modest 500 Million is money banked.

I don't know but to me it doesn't look healthy.

I thought they were only releasing three cards at first so Im going with:

6800 £575
6800XT £629
6900XXXT £899

Well there's 3 Navi 21 SKUs so it'll be at least the 6800, 6800XT and the 6900XT, then there's 5 Navi 22 SKUs that have been confirmed, 3 desktop so 6700XT, 6700 and 6600XT probably, 2 mobile variants and one professional/workstation, however though they might be announced N22 probably won't be released till next year, like how the 5600 non x and 5700x Zen 3 will be released next year, they don't have the wafer volumes to manufacture enough of the high volume parts yet, they're still busy making consoles SoCs, once that calms down and they get more freed wafers from Huawei not being able to use TSMC, they'll switch to the high volume SKUs and we'll probably see them Q1 2021.

6900XT - who knows? 3090+10% raster... $749-999

I think we deserve this much
They are binning 3 skus from a single die on the fabled tsmc process.. it should be highly profitable even at the lower end of the price band :)

That's another way to look at it. I don't know details of their investments to make an informed rebuttal
