Any ideas for reducing heat/throttling? Ive replaced thermal compound with Mx-4..
I want crossfire but dont know what my best options are for doing it without replacing case and buying tons of fans... THE NOISEEEE

I have a tri-x 290. Great card, works perfectly not a single problem.

Shame the other 6 cards i had my hands on either black screened, artifacted, or simply were DOA. Nightmare time with some of them, but the ones that work are just perfectly good cards.

Lack of drivers and xfire profiles is another thing.

Argh think I'm gonna bite the bullet and get a new monitor so I can enjoy this card. Can just be in Windows and screen will just go black but everything else is running in background and only way to fix is it to restart. Would mean I wouldn't need a HMDI to VGA adapter as I think that's the issues despite trying more than one adapter.

Tempted by this one.
