Sounds similar to my plan when I got my 290's:

"I've just got home from work, it's late on a Friday, so it makes sense to leave fitting my new cards until tomorrow, when I'll have the whole day to do it. In fact, I think I'll have a drink to celebrate getting the 290s."

"Hmm.. That was nice, think I'll have another drink."

"Another drrrriiiinnnk sounds like a good (hic) plan...."

Wake up in the morning with no memory of the night before, but both cards are fitted into the PC and it's all working nicely. It appears drunk Stu is as competent with PC components as sober Stu, but has less patience. :)
