AMD Radeon R9 290X with Hawaii GPU pictured, has 512-bit 4GB Memory

290 pro at 350, and I'd probably buy it.
Though a 7950 Crossfire would ultimately cost me less :(

Just looking at the specs for the 290 pro, I think they will be very good overclockers as well and could hit clocks higher than the R9 290X. This could narrow the performance difference to less than 5%.

I don't really ever like buying the second tier, but in this case I may have to.
Only if the price is right, even if it is only 350, that's still almost 200 quid over after selling my 7970...

So, bit of a weird one.

What do you get with the BF4 edition? If it's just BF4, aren't they rumoured to be putting that in the game bundle?

Either way, if the normal ones are =<£550 I'm game! Pending good reviews though. I don't remember from previous launches, how long did it take for non reference coolers to appear? I can't fathom buying a reference cooler as they just sound like vacuum cleaners.

Shame there ain't more BF4 versions was planning on getting a code cheap off the MM. May as well just buy a copy now. Still pretty decent value considering the time I'll get out of it though.

I can't remember if this was mentioned but was there a price given for the normal 290?
The 290x doesn't look much more powerfull and im wondering if it would be better going 2 x 290.
