So crossfire - there is no way of connecting a bridge because it is never needed? It will run via PCIe in 2x/3x/4x crossfire on any mobo that supports crossfire? (where you have the required number of slots obviously)

Nope not any more. In fact I think it's been more of a legacy thing for a while. The PCI-E bus has more than enough bandwidth to cope with on gen 3.0. They were only there to make up the little difference where it may of capped the bus previously. I'm fairly sure they didn't do an awful lot then either :D.

A little first tier birdie has told me the NDA is lifting tomorrow and they do infact have a price. I'm not allowed to know it unless I place an order though. But being the loyal customer I already have 2 on order here ;)

EDIT... I've got current pricing for the 290X.

Well they might be under NDA but you aren't ;)

It's fairly small / unremarkable way under £600 inclusive of VAT. That's all I'm going to say...it may change however.

OFC I could be lying...in the event mods want to remove it lol.

They bloody well shouldn't considering I'm still buying from here :D...

I guess there's nothing to lose by pre-ordering one anyway. I really don't like the idea of two cards in a small case (or two cards in any case), so I probably have little choice other than to buy the 290X or the Titan. The Titan is obviously a no-go at that price.

So the cards going to be 550 to 580, great. Too much for me.

edit: hm at a second guess maybe £500-£550.
